it has a very full, rich tone. i love the color, it's my favorite color! it plays very well. i just bought it and recieved it on 09/14/07. very easy to play for all ages, beginning and advanced. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT A TOY, BUT A GREAT PRODUCT! it's durable. it is easily affordable for students.
