Beware of the Spineworx!
2008-06-24
I bought it, I tried to use it, my back was in so much pain. It's very hard and presses on your spinal cord, causing pain. U may need to seek medical help if you use this. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. If you're having back problems, don't try to heal yourself. Seek medical professional help only.
Nor for those who have had back surgery

Spine-Worx Back Realignment Device
I had hoped after reading the rave reviews this device would help keep my spine aligned. Because of ruptured discs, I had three vertebrae fused two years go. When I laid down on the Spine-Worx Back Realignment, the pain was so great in the lumbar area where I had surgery I could not stay on it for even a minute. I tried changing positions, but none was any better. Perhaps if the bars were a little further apart and covered with a softer material it would have worked.
Just what I needed

I had some back problems after a car accident, which a chiropractor helped alleviate. Fast forward a year later and I started to feel a slight twinge in my back where I used to feel discomfort. I was about to start going back to the chiropractor, but I came across the Spine Worx. I thought to myself, why not...it's not too expensive.
I now use it once a day before I go to sleep, and it has relieved the twinge in my spine I began to feel again. It does a good job of relaxing the muscles in my back and allowing the spine to realign itself. I would recommend this product to others.
Started to feel better immediatly!

This is a very effective, easy to use and affordable way to bring relieve to aching back. I have had back problems and pain ever since I was hit by a car 27 years ago. I spent thousands of dollars on chiropractic help that would only bring a temporary relieve. Now, for the price of less that one adjustment I have my own "chiropractor" at home...
Great for someone with a daily regimen

The product helps us, when we remember to use it every day. We are still young so our routines are not set in stone or anything so it can be hard to remember to use it. I figure if we do stick with using it every day it will help us a lot more.

I found that the item was a very efficient back relief. I also found that it was difficult to align my spine up correctly. I work out regularly and play golf three times a week. I'm not overweight and am fairly supple. I returned the item because I feared a misalignment of my spine. I purchased a Back Stretcher and use this instead. The Spine-worx is a excellent built item and I'm sure most people can overcome the slight discomfort and use the device with good results.
Spine Worx Works!
2008-07-17
My chiropracter actually recommended the Spine Worx. I try to use it daily before bed and it seems to help. Sometimes my back will pop two or three times when I first lay back on it. You do need to use a pillow for your head. I'm going to the chiropracter a lot less since using it. The only negative is the unnecessary secondary packaging from Amazon, as would be really difficult to break in its sturdy original box. The great news is it is small enough to fit in a suitcase. Don't leave home without it!
Does nothing for me...

A lot of reviews here seem to say this thing works. Maybe it works for other people but for me it really has no benefit at all.
I think the issue is that it doesn't feel like theres enough pressure on my upper body when I lay on the thing to really force my back into it enough for it to do much, I workout a lot and have a lot of muscle on my back so I guess it takes more pressure to get to the muscles around the spine and maybe thats why I feel like I need to have some weight on my chest to force my body into the thing with more force. Or, it could be that my back doesn't have the type of problems this would help with I really just got it because I thought it would help with some muscle soreness I sometimes get.
Like I said, I'm not saying this thing is worthless because in the reviews you will see that a lot of people think it works well for them. All I'm saying is that for me it does little to nothing and I cant see how I can rate it high when it isn't that effective for me.
If anyone cares, I now am trying inversion products and I find them more beneficial but a lot more expensive, but if you have something seriously wrong with the back you might want to investigate inversion.
Spine-Worx back realignment device
2008-07-13
I have returned the realignment "device". I did not read anywhere in the advertisement that people with "moderate to severe" SCOLIOSIS of the spine should NOT use this device. I COULD NOT lay back comfortably on the piece, even once, and that after reading the instructions several times. My chiropractor says my scoliosis is "moderate", and that is probably why I cannot use it. Apparently others do not have this problem, because I ordered it based on other reviewers' comments. I was desperate to find something to help with back pain, so was willing to give it a try. I am glad Amazon makes returns so easy. (I couldn't rate it a zero, as that wasn't a choice!)
waste of money
2008-06-25
I was hoping for some sort of relief from this contraption. Possible even be able to stretch out the the chest muscles. Waste of money for me. It is painful or at very least extremely uncomfortable. The yellow part that the spine rests in, is very stiff. I've tried using this several times, read and re-read the directions, and it still suc*s !!!
