Solar Light review

The solar lights that I bought were the type that I liked and worked very well. One of the lights didn't work and I was very impressed with how quickly Amazon responded to my email and resolved the problem to my satisfaction! I think that if Amazon responds this way to all their customer service problems they will continue to do very well.
soft amber glow

I purchased 2 sets to use around my patio. Since the lights use only one battery apiece, they cast a soft amber glow; very nice for my yard. They were easy to assemble and every one works well. The batteries recharge even on dreary days. If you are looking for very bright lights, these are not for you.
subtle not bright

These solar lights are for "low" lighting to accent your yard, definitely not to light your way in the dark. But they look nice around my gardens as an accent decor. They hold together pretty well for plastic, but sometimes the plastic tops pop off a few times to make assembling them a test of patience. After a couple of weeks now, I'm beginning to notice that one of them is beginning to dim significantly. I'll try to resolve. The sale price of $29.99 is a little high for the quality, should be around $25, as long as shipping is free.
good product 2007-06-08
I have ordered and had in my yard just about every type of solar light made. I bought some of these last year, So far all are still working, no problems what so ever with them, sun, rain, snow, and the neighbors dog, still working good.

Despite reading the negative reviews on this product...I ordered the light set anyway. For me, the product works great and looks very nice in my back yard. They don't give out as much light as most, but all of them work like a charm. I would recommend this product.

I am very happy with this product. Great price, hassle free purchase, and delivery! Wish I could find more designs in the same. amber color!
Worth the money. Only problem is the sun takes the flexability out of the product and in 2-3 yrs, they crack and it is time to buy them again!
Complete waste of money

I should have known better than to order these lights after reading the reviews. However, because I just needed the lights to highlight steps, I thought they might work. Wrong! First, they look exceedingly cheap. Second, the light is exceedingly dim. Third, the dim light doesn't even last a couple of hours, which means that in the winter here there's no light after about 8 p.m. We bought another set of solar lights at Target for the same price that look much better and manage to stay lit most of the evening. Trust me: You do NOT want these lights.

I had basically the same ones I bought sometime ago. The new ones I bought off Amazon have never worked properly.Waste of money. Sorry but I am honest and they are basically worthless. I live in Florida with lots of sun and the old ones still come on.The new ones do not.I am sorry I purchased them.
