Love this phone. 2008-04-02
Love all the options. Easy to save numbers in the directory when someone calls. Speaker phone and intercom are handy. The redial feature works great because you can go to multiple numbers and select the one you want to redial instead of just the last one dialed. Fun to add pictures and different rings to favorite people. We like the "I LOVE YOU" picture I added to my cell phone number. When I call home, he answers the phone saying "I LOVE YOU TOO" instead of hello and it makes us both smile. Oh, and it works great too. Good reception etc.

Wish I hadn't bought it 2008-03-28
Well, I read the reviews and decided that the features I liked on this phone - speakerphone, large buttons, style - would overcome the issues others have mentioned about sound volume and quality. So now I own one, and after two weeks I'm back shopping for a phone I can live with.

Showstopper problems:
1. TOP VOLUME TOO LOW TO HEAR CLEARLY.
2. SOUND QUALITY POOR - and worse when you crank up the handset volume.

finally, a phone that works 2008-02-18
good signal on this and love the beeping message alert system
I had nearly given up on 5.8 phone, but this is worth the price - just wish the additional handsets weren't so much.

AT&T EP5995 2008-02-17
In addition to being able to monitor messages as they are being left and other features now common to cordless phones of this type you can purchase an additional battery, same type as comes with the phone, insert it in the base and once charged will allow you to use the handset to make a call during a power outage. Also, the LCD display on the handset is in color, a welcome touch.

Best Phone We've Had 2008-02-14
We've had this phone for several months now. It's the best phone we've ever had. I love the selection of ring tones & images it has that can be customized for each caller. We found it easy to set up and use, and it's attractive as well.

Highly Recommended! 2008-07-09
Bought this several years ago when my old one died. I thoroughly enjoy the features it has, more so than the newer ones. It's a breeze to get an extra hand set, or more, and registers an expandable handset within seconds.

At&t phone 2008-06-25
I owned this phone barely over a year and the problems started. The batteries are shot. They can't hold a charge, my previous phone was a vtech and the batteries lasted over 3 years before I noticed diminished use. The speaker button no longer works on one handset (the call is disconnected when the button is utilized.) One handset won't work at all. So I have $260 investment that is practically useless. Very dissappointed, I should have bought a cheaper brand. The intercom functionality is horrible, you have to scroll through the menu to access it. Each handset has it's own address book (my old vtech had a central address book.) Think twice before buying this expensive unit.

Looking for a new phone... 2008-06-08
We have had this phone for quite a while now. Unfortunately we have had to replace the handsets several times. The handsets are always searching for the base and stop working in the middle of calls. The battery life never lasts either. We love the color displays and the features this phone has but for us it has not been worth the hassle of replacing the handsets as much as we have had to. We are now searching for a new phone to replace this one.

SO happy! 2008-05-03
I am thrilled with this phone. I had an AT&T set and when they started to die my DH bought a rather cheap VTECH set at Sam's. It was pitiful. No volume control on the ringer, no speaker phone, etc. I missed my old AT&T set so much, I didn't care that the "9" didn't work anymore. This phone fits the bill, and more. I love the ringers, I love the size, I love the speakerphone on the phone and base, I love the caller ID and the ability to redial various numbers. The color screen is fun. Anyhow, I am so pleased and look forward to a few years with my new phone.

AT&TRP5995-5.Hz expandable cordless answering system 2008-04-05
i am very happy with my at&t answering system. I like the convience of the phone and the cordless handsets I added to the system. I would reomend the system to anyone who doesent like a lot of wires cluttering up their home. Winona Forrester Gain
