Innovation in Home Styling
With the Conair 208, you can practically say good-bye to your hair brush. Combining several advanced technologies and design features, this hair styler not only works to dry your hair without hurting its natural sheen and luster, but it will also help you manage your hair by controlling frizz, promoting healthy hair and volume, straightening out unwanted curls, and adding a beautiful shine as you style.

Conair's advanced Tourmaline Technology produces a controlled ion output that helps smooth the cuticle layer. Infrared energy works to protect your hair's natural luster, so you don't have to worry about excessive heat. And to help produce results with less frizz and more manageability, the styler also features unique Ionic technology, and a triple action styling system that keeps your hair detangled, straight and shiny.

A Styler Designed for You
The Conair 208 sports a sleek but durable stainless steel design. Included with the styler is a straightening attachment with a tension-control dial that turns a full 360 degrees and has eight locking positions. A patent-pending release lock button secures attachments on the barrel, offering the versatility that you need as you're styling your hair.

Beneath the hood of the Conair 208 is a powerful 1875-watt motor that will deliver the heat and air range that you need. An easy-to-use, two-speed slide switch is set on the handle, and the styler includes a hinged filter for easy cleaning. A nine-foot professional line cord and cord tie will give you ample room as you take care of your hair. The Conair 208 also comes with a five-year manufacturer's warranty.

The History of Tourmaline Ceramic Technology
In 1970 Conair introduced the industry's first pistol grip hair dryer. Fast forward 35 years to France. In September 2005, Conair's French subsidiary BaByliss introduced a patent-pending design to control frizz, straighten hair, and to add shine and volume in one revolutionary step. Their BeLiss styler effectively eliminated the need for a hairbrush for straightening, and by the end of the year it was the number one seller in France. Conair introduced this new technology to the U.S. in the form of the Infiniti Hair Designer, a high-end, professional-caliber styler that produces salon-quality results at home.

Wife very pelased with it 2008-05-29
It used to take my wife 1.5 hours to do her hair (thick, dense and long). Now it takes her 30 minutes and she is done.

Not Good for Everyone 2008-05-20
I have medium length somewhat curly hair, layered on the top and sides, and I bought this item after seeing it on TV and looking at it on this site. Unfortunately, I'm less than impressed. I think it might work better if you have long hair, or hair that's pretty much all the same length, but it doesn't really work for me the way it's intended. The hair dryer itself is good, I like it, but when I put the attachment on it, it doesn't cut it. I watched the DVD several times, but I'm still not able to get it to do what it shows in the DVD. If it wasn't such a pain to box it up and send it back, not to mention costly with the return shipping, I'd do just that. Instead I'll keep it for the hair dryer or find a friend with longer hair.

Hard to use 2008-05-15
The concept is a good one. The dryer is cumbersome. The cord is long but somewhat heavy. I have curly hair. It takes a lot of work and time to straighten the hair without it getting big. Women with curly hair will understand what I mean.

Ready in helf the time 2008-05-15
I'll do anything to minimize the time it takes for my wife to get ready. She calls it the "process" I call it agonizing. So when I saw this as a suggestion for a gift for my wife I didn't hesitate. Let tell you it cut the "process" time in half. My wife loves it and I honestly saw a difference in the way her hair looked. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great for those who don't have time 2008-04-25
I'm the last person in the world that you would see doing her hair. I'm a big tomboy I wanted to try to do something to my hair so could be girly I've tried many different blow dryers and I stink at it. This works perfectly for those who doesn't know hwo to do hair. I love how it makes my heair all shiny and heathy and straight and it take care of bed head I love it. I use it right before work since I shower the night before and my hair looks great. I love it.

Pricey but worth it 2008-07-24
OK this dryer cost more than I wanted to pay but I decided that I was worth it. It works on my African American hair. The attachements stay in place and it gets my hair really straight. I still flat iron my hair with my Wigo flat iron which I love but this dryer does not leave my hair brittle or dull. I have a nice glossy finish and it does not leave my hair looking damaged and dry.

blow dryer 2008-07-08
the dryer was hard to use and I still needed to use flat iron, but my hair dried a lot faster than usual. Mal

A must for long hair 2008-06-12
I have very long coarse wavy hair and it used to take 1 1/2 hrs. to dry it. It was very hard to use the first couple of times and it pulled out a few hairs. After I got used to it I was able to dry my hair in 15 minutes! It doesn't make the hair completely straight though. I use a flat iron after it's dry to make it straight and silky. Work in sections. After you dry the section with the Infiniti, go over it with a flat iron while it's still hot.

Fantastic! 2008-06-09
Best hair dryer I have ever used - I have long thick hair and this cuts dry time in half - love it!

difficult to use correctly 2008-05-31
Id need a whole day to watch video and learn the correct way to use this on my short, curly hair but perhaps if and when that day comes Ill find out its a wonderful product when I can allot 3 hours to do my hair-Im pretty sure my life wont go that way and if it does I probably have bigger problems than my hair. The few times Ive tried to use it it just doesnt work well on my hair but seems to be great for others-oh well.
