waste of time

This thing doesn't work. The only reason I bought it was because I lost my USB cable and when I found a replacement for that on amazon I saw a link to this one so I figured it'd be nice to have an AC charger for when I take it to work.
First time I tried it I thought it ruined my player. I couldn't get it to power on. The battery was almost drained when I started charging it so I thought maybe I should wait until it's not so empty. So I charged it through my PC. A few weeks later I took the AC adapter to work and plugged it in while I was listening to music. Then it just stopped. There was a big yellow line going down the right side of the screen. I figured at that point my Creative Zen was toast. I kept it charging on my PC just to see what happened and finally I guess the battery had to drain completely before it would start to charge again.
Do not buy this. It will not work with the Creative Zen.

I have to agree with several other writers here, this product doesn't work. It will not charge your Zen Micro. Don't be penny wise yet dollar foolish. If you want to charge your Zen Micro without using a computer, buy the Creative charger. It's overpriced, for sure, but it works.

This charger is great, it plugs directly into the Zen, no need for the adapter you need to charge on the computer. It charges faster than on the computer too. About 3 hours if your battery is completely dead. Also you can still use your Zen while your charging it, can't do that while it's charging on the computer unless you have Creative Media Source installed and even then you can only play it over your computer.
While it's charging it shows the flashing battery icon in the upper right corner, and when it's done it will go away completely.

This product does not work. PERIOD. I wrote to them for a refund and so far haven't heard back but in fairness that may be because I wrote on Saturday. They also shipped the item in the wrong box. It was a cell phone charger box. This tells me that doing business with these folks for any item is not a smart move especially since given the other reviews they are knowingly shipping a product that does not work at all.

Bought two since they were so inexpensive. Neither recharged my Zen Micro even after a full day! Don't waste your money!
