Very Little Support

I spend a lot of time reading and sitting at my computer and was hoping this pillow would offer substantial support for my neck. It does not. In fact, when the ends are snapped together, the pillow hangs loosely around my size-sixteen neck and the memory foam has no purpose. I haven't taken this pillow on a flight, so it may be more practical when one is sitting on a plane, but it is useless for my needs. Also, the foam has a strong musty odor that some people may not like and was made in China.

My experience was so different from those of other reviewers, who commented on the "hospital like smell," snug fit, and metal clip, that I'm wondering if the product hasn't changed substantially. In any case, an adjustable Velcro fit rather than a one-size-fits-all snap would be a great improvement.

I purchased the obuse forme memory foam travel pillow before taking a flight from Atlanta to Germany and It was a life saver or should I say a neck saver. I had made this trip before with out a travel pillow and I got to say it makes the world of difference because no matter what you do it's not comfortable on a plane and this really helps. Also when just driving my wife uses it to nap and she also likes it very well. I have to say I did alot of looking around before purchasing this one and it was because I have memory foam pillows that I sleep with that I decided to go with this one and I'm glad I did after seeing the other ones and alot of them were alot smaller and I dont think they would have worked as well.

Made 13 hour go by quickly

I was dreading our long 13.5 hours flight from Chicago to Delhi but this pillow made it possible for me to sleep for extended periods of time in comfort and made the flight a very decent experience.

Too Big & Bulky!

I bought this Obus Forme Memory Foam Travel (Neck) Pillow for a long flight in coach seating... turned out to be useless and very uncomfortable! It was so big and bulky that it pushed my head forward in the seat, even in the reclined position. It ended up taking up most of the room in my carry-on bag, making it very inconvienent to lug around. What a waste of money and precious luggage space!!!

Comfortable travel pillow - better for car travel

I bought this pillow based on other reviews I had read, and it is definitely as comfortable as everyone said. I have some neck problems, and it really helped support my neck in a comfortable way (not too stiff). The only problem is how much space it takes up. Since it isn't inflatable, it will take up most of the space in any smallish size bag you take with you. I will definitel use it again, but I think I'll just hook it around the bag so I don't have to take up space in the bag.

disappointed

I was disappointed with this product. After reading so many great reviews, I decided to purchase this product for my flight to Asia. The pillow is too hard, and the neck area was too large for my neck. I used it instead to prop up against the window. The pillow may work better for a larger, taller person.

Not soft enough

It's a nice idea to have a travel pillow made of memory foam, but this pillow just didn't cut it. It's way too bulky for airline travel. The width of the pillow pushed my head forward in an already cramped seat. Save your money and purchase a travel pillow made of a material that is more easily compressed.

IT WON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!

I travel a lot. Long 10 hour flights. So although it's a bulky item, it's still worth having it on a trip. When I'm in transit I hook it around on my carry on bag and when in flight I have it on my neck at all times. It's very comfortable, the cover is washable and doesn't shrink. The chemical odor it comes with vanishes away with use. I have this travel pillow on car trips as well and many times when relaxing on my armchair at home. I like the fact that the foam is firm enough to support your neck and smooth enough for your face to touch it. It's shape was perfectly engineered and I didn't get that much comfort out of other travel horseshoe pillows I've owned. I highly recomend it. (In case you're wondering I'm 5'2 and skinny.)

Great pillow for travel

This pillow is much better than the squishy foam kind, especially if you're like me and have neck issues. This one is a bit stiff, but that's exactly what I wanted. The raised sides make it more comfortable, also. It's a little heavier than the useless regular ones, but pick your poison. I would rather have a little heavier pillow that works. Also, the cool thing about the memory foam is that I squished it way smaller into a little bag and clipped the little bag to my backpack. Undo it in the airplane, and poof, back to it's original form in a minute or so.
