Pink SOny DVD Player

I own this little wonder. I don't currently have a TV so this is my only form of entertainment right now. ( my ex had took the TV we had )
I compare this to the Polaroid Pink DVD player and the picture and sound quality are much better.
I have no complaints. Its cute, small, portable, and plays my dvd's!
Too bad it didn't come with Headphones and a Case though

I recommend getting this product over some of the other portable DVD players. This one looks nicer and lasts a lot longer with the 5 hour battery.

Great portable DVD for the price. Perfect for traveling with kids. I was a little worried about the picture quality based on some of the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price this is a very good deal. I love the swivel lcd screen! Again if you are buying this to entertain kids when traveling or to simply use around the house like we do then you wont be disappointed.
Great portable DVD player 2008-04-27
We have gone through several portable DVD models through the years. This one is compact, the buttons are well organized, it has slots for two sets of headphones and the screen twists around and folds flat. We just bought one to give as a gift and could not find it in stores-sold out. We would not buy any other model and were so glad to find it on Amazon. Great features and functionality for the price.
A must for airplane travel 2008-04-24
This great little DVD player is perfect for travel. It has been indispensable on our last 2 trips being stuck in airports, on the plane and on scenic drives with our 2 year old. The 6 hour battery means it will last longer than one movie (very important). It is small and light enough to fit into a carry-on or large purse. Our first one broke when my daughter dropped it on a hard wood floor several times in one trip and we immediately went out and bought another one.

I recently purchased this Portable Sony DVD Player, it plays all types of DVDs but not the VCDs, I like the product otherwise.

Sony Cherry Red Portable DVD Player 2008-04-20
I bought this product to use on our honeymoon flight to Tahiti (8.5 hours). It was perfect. The battery lasted the entire 6 hours it stated it would, the screen is clear, and it is very easy to work. I also really like the swivel screen.
So far so good; Don't discount the sound issues 2008-04-18
I bought this (for too much) at a local store because I found out the airline we were taking the next day to China didn't have individual TV screens. If you've ever taken a LOOOOOOONNNNG flight with that you know you'll never be able to be content with the old aisle screens again.
It was a life-safer. On the way there I messed up and didn't have the correct plug adapter to plug into the plane (it was in my baggage), but it still ran for nearly 5 hours -- I admit, though, that I turned down the backlight as far as I could hoping to spare the battery. You could still see fine.
I will agree that sound is a problem. It's nearly impossible to hear through the speakers, and using normal earphones (which is what my partner had) on a plane make it very difficult to hear. However, I used a set of Sony noise-cancelling headphones, and there was no problem at all. I strongly recommend using noise-cancelling headphones with this unit.
It's a nice-looking, well-built and easy to use unit. Sony REALLY needs to look at the sound issues to make it perfect.
