said new,but was used

Product said it was new, but when I recieved it in the mail, the package had been opened and then stapled back shut. I was okay with that, but when I took the leather punch out of the package, it had grease all over it and was dirty. it was obviously used before it was sent to me. I was not happy with this.

review of leather hole punch

This product is a bit disappointing. It does not allign properly and is not sharp enough to punch through the leather without great strength. I couldn't do it and had to ask my husband's help and he had a hard time getting the hole punched.

not as tough as it looks

this looked like a good solid punch, but the flimsy plastic snapped on the 3rd punch. i didnt return it because it was really cheap anyway, so i called it as a loss.
the punches must not be sharp because it barely punched the leather i had and its only 1/8" thick.
i dont know what this was made for, but heavy duty it is not.

Bad quality product

Cheap quality product. I received this product with minor damage and the handle broke off completely the first time when I used it. I do not recommend buying this product at all.

works great. I had several belts which I had to make smaller. I was always using a scissor or a knife to do the job and ruined several good belts. That won't be the problem anymore.

The other inexpensive leather punches I have used in the past tended to turn as you were exerting pressure on them. This model stays put, but I needed two or three attempts to make the hole punch through the full thickness of the leather. It is also somewhat bulky in your hand, but then I am a woman so maybe it would be fine for a man.

heave duty punch

Cummins is a very reputable company and with good reason! I recently bought a heavy duty punch from them and got a bad one (it happens sometimes, I know). I used it one time and the punch broke. I think because of the weight of leather I'm trying to punch. I wrote the company explaining what happened. They did not even request the old punch back, they just sent me a new one. To me, that is service and quality with the best. I would definitely order from these folks again. Anything I could use that they carry and not have to worry about it. Many Thanks, Don R. Fowler

Quality at an economical price

I bought this to punch additional holes in my belts and cuffs because I always seem to be inbetween sizes. Works like a charm.

Had to adjust stop so punch would hit anvil square

Punch would not cut a hole thru leather. Ha d to adjust stop so punch would hit anvil square, Works OK now, but at first I was not too happy with the product.
