Customer Reviews
Must be me, cause my roommate loves it!

Could NOT get this item to stay on my ear!!! This is a constant problem that is my ear type not the products quality. Gave it to my 78 yr old landlord/roommate and he couldn't be happier. So it's just my luck to have "special" ears! LOL
I should have read the reviews first

This case does NOT carry the headset firmly at all. What's worse is that it can freely swivel around 360 degrees, and often ended up with the open side down, dropping the headset onto the ground. A couple of weeks ago, I took the dogs for a walk, and when I got home it was gone.
If you absolutely must buy this one, I would at least recommend using a drop of superglue to prevent it from swiveling. Even so, it really needs some kind of restraining loop or strap.
Voyager 510holster
2008-01-08
The holster works good to a certain level. I have had the holster come off my belt a few times. I have also had the head set come out of it a few times, but not lately. All in all it is good product to keep the headset form getting connected to the phone like it did in my shirt pocket.
Not a useful product

I just got this product. I generally really like the carrying case, because I like to clip it to my sun visor in my car. This case does not hold the headset securely and the clip appears to be on upside down and cockeyed. Logically, it appears to me that the open end of the clip should be pointing down away from the the open end of the case, however, my clip is pointing upward the same direction as the opening of the case and is slightly sideways. Also because the case has such a large opening and is not fitted to the headset, the headset juts out from the case which makes it impossible to clip to my visor and use the visor at the same time. This product is almost completely useless as far as adequately securing the headset and appears to be fairly worthless even as a belt clip due to the position of the clip on the back.
Its better than nothing

I was looking for something to hold my Voyager in the car. Clipping this case to the sunvisor does the job nicely. I don't think it would hold it too securly on your belt.
Not what I needed

ear piece pouch

This is a great toy, I love how it fits my earpiece and attaches securly to my purse. I don't have to worry about buttons being pushed while it is in my purse. I love the ability to keep my ear piece safe.
Not a useful Bluetooth headset case
2007-11-08
This case is too small for the headset, especially if you use one of the earbuds. And, you have to collapse the headset to put it in. So you have to constantly readjust the setting after you take it out of the case. I think it's a poor design.
Generic case, not specifically designed to hold earpiece/
2007-10-17
Not particularly thrilled. A generic hard case that doesn't appear to protect the piece of equipment I bought it for. Case not shaped well for earpiece and earpiece is exposed at top of case. Earpiece falls out of case. I don't recommend this case for protecting the Plantronics Bluetooth headset.
Needs modification

Plantronics did design this case for easy access, too easy - it only releases the headset, it doesn't hold it. My husband loves the BT500 and can't live without a holster case for everything. This is the only case designed for this headset that I could find. He didn't have any problem figuring out how to get the headset into the case, and has no problem wearing the holster, but unmodified, the headset caught on everything and was constantly falling out or being pulled out of the holster, defeating the purpose. We eventually used sticky velcro to modify the holster, and now he's quite happy with it. One sticky square on the back, one sticky square adhered to the front - both the same side of the velcro. Then one long piece over the top that connects to the front and back squares is the configuration that worked for us. It's still easy enough to access, but the headset is now very secure in the case.
