Pleased! 2008-02-15
I'm very happy with these! I have extremely small ears, and these fit snuggly while I'm running. The sound quality isn't exceptional, but for the price, it's very good.

Good Sound for a $30 2008-01-31
First and best headphones I ever bought over $20 dollars. I've used my friends and they have from cheap ipod headphones to Bose and these headphones have impressed me!

fall in love with your music all over again 2008-01-24
i ordered a pair of jungle green v-moda bass freq's a few weeks ago to use with my creative zen vision:m, and must say that these are the best sub-$100 earbuds i've heard yet. i refuse to pay more than a $100 for earphones. compared to my sony MDREX71SLA's, the volume on these is much louder (meaning that i don't have to crank up the volume like i do with my sony's).

in terms of sound quality, a lot of reviewers said it's too bass heavy, well c'mon now people, that's the whole point...it's in the name. granted some songs have muddled mids and highs, for the most part, the spectrum of sound is clear. i listen to a wide range of genres, and these work well with all, especially for music with thumping bass lines (e.g. hiphop, electronica, techno, etc).

the fit took a little while to get used to. users should try all three fittings to make sure they get a perfect seal, if there's any leakage, the sound won't come through at all. the silicone sounds squeaky in the ear while you adjust them (something my sony's never did) and if you push them too far in they stop working altogether. but once i got the right fit (small) and learned to adjust them right, i haven't had any problems. the build quality of the buds seems decent, but the cords are extremely thin which probably means durability may become an issue in the future. the modawrap isn't much of a help either cos the cord isn't that long and to use it as storage only means having a tangled cord once you unravel them.

nonetheless, an outstanding pair of buds for $29.99! buy one, heck, buy a couple while they're cheap! you won't regret it.

V-Moda Bass Freq Earbuds 2008-01-18
I would totally recommend these earbuds!

PROS:
~ comes in colors other than black and white
~ cancels noise pretty well
~ modawrap helps keep the wires organized
~ music sounds great when played through it
~ price ($29.99) was wonderful

CONS:
~ maybe this was just my zune 30, but even on the lowest setting music was too loud
~ wires look flimsy and like they're about to break
~ sometimes bass overpowers the music

note: make sure to get a tight fit with the silicon earpieces, or else they won't block out noise

Perfect 2007-12-13
The ear buds fits very well. Sound quality is perfect. I feel this was a very good buy and great value for the money.

Great sound but way too fragile 2007-08-05
I loved the sound, but they fell apart in a month. The jack and wiring can't stand up to day to day use.

Love 'em. 2007-07-09
Bought these based on reviews from Cnet and other customers - and it lives up to expectation. I use these commuting on public transportation in Boston where ambient noise is high, to say the least. With my old earphones, I used to have to keep the volume up at around 19, but with these I keep it at around 9 and can hear the whole range beautifully. I did have to adjust the equalizer settings on my mp3 player a bit since the sound was a bit muddy at first but now it's great. My husband has the Sony earphones for about the same price and they don't hold a candle to these.

Not for Sports 2007-05-25
I bought this as I cannot keep my other headphone in my ears while jogging. I was dissappointed with this one as it still does the same thing. I just ordered another one from Sony.

The best I ever had. 2007-01-27
I bought these earbuds a few months ago from the official website for $50. Let me tell you, it was the best $50 I ever spent. They are amazing! Sound is great and it has some noise isolation (about 50%). I gave it 4 stars because the color is different in real life than on the picture. I got these green ones because I liked the color on the picture, but the color is a very different green. I recently ordered the black ones too. But don't let the color stop you, if you want to be safe get white or black I guess. They are really really good earbuds.
