Wet and Great

I was a little leery when I saw the title, because I thought, "What do we need wet women for? Why can't they just be dry?" But, actually, it was great, and for 8 hours, the price can't be beat.
I thought it would take more than a week to view all 10 chapters, but I cruised through all 8 hours & 10 chapters in about 27 hours.
These are collections of mini music videos, usually about 10 - 15, in each of these 10 chapters. Some of these mini music videos are better than others, but one thing consistently of the highest quality is the women. These are some of the prettiest & most beautiful women that mankind has ever seen and that mankind will ever see. Most seem to be natural; and, after hours and hours of viewing, I didn't especially notice any tatoos until Dripping Delight, which is the 2nd mini music video in "Wet & Wild IX, Slippery When Wet."
"Wet & Wild,I" has a lot of so-so to awful music, but the music noticably improves in "Wet & Wild, II". I actually turned up the volume for the first time to hear the music for Liquid Sensations, which is the 7th music video on "Wet & Wild, II".
The first music video that I liked so much that I pressed the repeat button-- and that I liked the best during all 8 hours of viewing-- was Party Time, the 12th music video on "Wet & Wild, III". Party Time seems to be an actual music video to an actual song. People drive up to a juke box in a dry lake bed, put a quarter in and dance up a storm. Another video on "Wet & Wild, III" that I appreciated was Fun In the Sun, where a few babes are in see-through one-piece swimsuits, but those "swimsuits" are probably actually teddies. See, each of those girls is wearing a teddy.
The best intro to any of these 10 chapters is the intro to "Wet & Wild, IV", and the fantastic sight & sound continues on "Wet & Wild, IV" with the first music video Nautical But Nice, with naked females on board ship. The video Fluid Forms and the video White Rain are also notable on "Wet & Wild, IV", with Enigma-esque music to White Rain.
The video Water Rites on "Wet & Wild, V" is perhaps notable for the male/female action, as it has about the most explicit sex scenes between a male and female in all 10 chapters. And more of the most explicit sex scenes continue on "Wet & Wild, V" with Afternoon Engagement.
A lot of these videos have a playful, surrealistic quality, where people, things, and physical properties of place magically appear, change, disappear, etc. as in Defrosted, which is in chapter VI. Guys are in a bar watching girls in bikinis on a color tv. The girls toss buckets of water at the camera, and the water passes through the space/time continuum, and the guys at the bar get wet! Then the girls magically appear in the bar, strip out of their bikinis, and everybody gets showered with water from an unseen water source. It's silly and wacky, but it's sexy and fun, I guess. A lot of the videos are like that.
The picture quality dramatically improves with "Wet & Wild, IX, Slippery When Wet". Playboy must have been using the best in new video equipment then. While the picture quality improves, the videos themselves aren't especially any better.
"Wet & Wild Live, Backstage Pass", which is the 10th & last of the 10 chapters, was a disappointment, although I liked Sydney Moon. She was one of my most favorite females during all 8 hours. At that "Wet & Wild Live, Backstage Pass" people mostly just took a video camera backstage at a Playboy activity in Las Vegas.
One concept that Playboy overworks too much is the one where a woman squirts a fluid from a plastic squeeze bottle on to another women and then the woman lightly applies it to her. Playboy ought to give that concept a rest. When they squirt that stuff on each other, the women tend not to touch the really sensitive parts of each other.

(PB-style) naughty, yet squeaky clean!

If you can wade through these issues:
the atmospheric emphasis PB gives to set the stage for (& fill) many of the vignettes: (sometimes lingering) shots of seagulls, landscapes, cityscapes, (clothed female and/or male) dancers, etc...you get the picture;
a significant proportion of the entire series displaying the dreaded VHS-to-DVD-transfer graininess, so that just when you want to pause for an exciting still shot, you get blur (though, to be fair, much of it is acceptable-to-good);
some silicone--not on a majority of models, & never basketball-sized, but more than I've seen before with PB (perhaps 15-20 percent);
a substantial amount of "jigsaw puzzle"-style filming/editing--here a body part, there a body part, but how about more of the whole woman? Sometimes more frustrating than satisfying;
spotty, unpredictable eye contact--in a few segments none, in others almost none (though, again in fairness, a majority of episodes contain a substantial amount);
the occasional chapter that's just a dud (usually because it's too artsy, and/or the models come across as distant & aloof);
some repetition in the damsels used from one segment to another--though, altogether, there are a lot of women represented here, between all three discs, making for an ABUNDANCE of gorgeous eye candy! There IS a handful of a dozen or so that clearly must have been Hef's favorites ("You? Again? Didn't we just see you?")--because they do show up much more often than most. I didn't get a count of the number of different women from all the episodes, though I wouldn't be surprised if it tops 100; see the review entitled "W & W Complete Set Review" for a more detailed breakdown/overview;
the girl-girl segments being typical PB cotton-candy soft, with far more tease than please. (The mercifully few boy-girl/s scenes have that saccharine, R-rated, hopelessly simulated feel;)
and, also in PB fashion, as any aficionado knows, it would be unrealistic to expect any traffic-stopping, full-rear-view-with-eye-contact shots--or any real pink worth taking your breath away, for that matter--& we're not surprised by any break from tradition here;
...again, if you can get past these reservations--& I say it's worth the effort--then you're in for an extended, fun ride through the usual bevy of PB beauties, covering just about every water-related subject they can uncover themselves in.
Taken separately, I would've given each disc three stars; it's the unprecedented, sheer volume of collective chapters that warrants the overall fourth.
Despite its imperfections, I still enjoyed much of it. A significant number of moments were outstanding; much effort is made, mostly successfully, to promote a sense of fun about it all; no one has tattoos or piercings; & all in all I'd say it's a solid addition to a collection.
Wet and Wild Complete set review 2007-06-26
Wet & Wild I
This was the first instalment of Playboy's "Wet & Wild" series and, unlike later tapes from the series, a good portion of this video is made up of footage not shot directly for this release. There are plenty of great shots of Playmates as well as models good enough to be Playmates. The picture quality is very good. Gianna Amore and Sandra Wild look especially hot in this one.
Wet & Wild II
The second part of this series comes with 16 episodes (including the introduction) Playmate Deborah Driggs gets extensive exposure in this one. I have seen the old VHS version of this and DVD is much better than the VHS, picture quality is exceptionally good.
Wet & Wild III
Just like the previous parts this also have 16 chapters. In Wet & Wild III there is exclusive chapter for Pamela Anderson. Playmate Ava Fabian gets more exposure in this part III.
Wet & Wild IV
Model identification was no problem at all, since all the girls are Playmates. Lots of nudity. Lots of great Playmates exposed for all the world to see. Brittany York really stands out in this one. Her body looks great here. Samantha Dorman and Morgan Fox are paired again, and both are as hot as always. Corinna Harney is very cute and gets ample exposure.
Wet & Wild V
Just like the other parts Wet & Wild V is too hot to handle. Playmates Tiffany Sloan and Wendy Hamilton are in the most of the Episodes and get ample exposure.
Wet & Wild: The Locker Room
This was main concentrated on group activities. All the great Playmates like Tawnni Cable, Julie Lynn Cialini, Wendy Hamilton, Corinna Harney, Fawna MacLaren, Shae Marks, Barbara Moore, Jenny McCarthy, Tiffany Sloan and Carrie Westcott are present in this part.
Wet & Wild: Hot Holidays
This is My favourite part of all the Wet & Wild series. This one makes exceptionally better than the other ones since this have the beautiful Patricia Ford and Lisa Marie Scott which makes the Wet & Wild: Hot Holidays more colourful.
Wet & Wild: Slippery When Wet
Unlike other Episodes this have only 8 Chapters. Home Alone segment and the Schoolhouse Rock segment rocks this episode especially with Neferteri Shephard, Jami Ferrell, Shannon Stewart and Natalia Sokolova.
Wet & Wild: Bottoms Up
In the introduction we see close-ups of different parts of the female anatomy without knowing which female we're ogling. This episode of Wet & Wild have only 10 Chapters.
Wet & Wild Live! Backstage Pass
This is pretty much low budget Playboy. Playboy had a broadcast of a Wet & Wild fashion show (I think it may have been on pay-per-view) and took advantage of the situation (having a lot of hotties in one location) to knock out a low budget video. There are two Playmates (Shannon Stewart and Barbara Moore) in the cast and a lot of favorite Playboy models (a lot of these girls could be Playmates so there really isn't a big drop off in the eye candy department compared to other Playboy videos). This is shot on video and the girls never are heard talking, just posing nude for the camera for long periods of time and not doing a lot else. There is a large combination shower/bath in the dressing room and the whole dressing room is decorated to give it the look of a rain forest. This seems very similar to the type of video Penthouse would put out although here the nudity is nowhere near as explicit. The girl/girl scenes are very soft softcore, and the two Playmates don't get very involved in those shenanigans (Shannon is completely by herself in her segment). You'll notice a lot of familiar names in the credits, including many Playmates, at the bottom of this review. Unfortunately those girls only make brief appearances on the stage modeling skimpy outfits, and you have to look fast to catch them.
Overall Verdict:
Playboy: Wet and Wild: Complete Collection comes with 10 Videos in one 3 DVD collection which cost only USD 26.99 an episode at USD 2.70 is real value for money with all the nudity you get.
Great First Playboy DVD 2006-12-18
I am not into those sleazy pornographic films, where people are having sex and whatnot. I am more into posing, and more tasteful stuff. That is why i stay away from magazines such as Hustler and Leg Show, and stay with Playboy.
Since i have come to trust Playboy quite a bit with their magazines, i decided to try their movies.
I will admit that i have not watched the whole DVD yet, but the first two discs, though very vintage looking, leave me satisfied.
It is pretty much Playboy Magazine, but in motion. There are various beautiful women put into different settings that have to do with water. They are doing very sensual things in the water, obviously.
This set comes with three discs, clocking in at 8 hours 40 minutes TOTAL. For $30, 8 hours is not half bad.
The girls, though a little vintage looking as said above, are very pretty. Their hair can do with some touch-ups, but it is the body that counts. They sure have the body.
Overall, for a first Playboy DVD, this is excellent. I have gone through 4 softcore DVDs, including this one, and this stands up as the best by far.
If you are into beautiful girls posing, added with the fetish of water, this is the DVD for you.

Although the girls are beautiful and sexy, I thought the description of the movie was more "girl on girl" soft-core. All the girls do is pose. I am very disappointed.
