not as good as it used to be

I've used this product off and on several times over the last few years. At first it was much more potent and worked almost instantly to cure razor bumps and irritation. However, i've noticed over the last couple of years or so the price continues to increase and the product itself seems more diluted and less effective. My last expensive bottle has almost no effect on my skin whatsoever. And I do use it as directed.
My advice would be to save a lot of money and use Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent (with salicylic acid). It is just as effective, if not more so than TendSkin.
luv it!!

Tend Skin is the best aftershave product I have ever used. I have relied on this product for almost 10 years as part of my daily skin care ritual and refuse to use anything else- it's great for preventing and/or treating razor burn bumps after a fresh shave just as well as in-growns after a waxing. I have even used it as spot treatment on a pimple or two with great results. :) When I first started waxing, I was very prone to a ton of in-growns, but since I started using this at the advice of my aesthetician of the time, I have had maybe 2 or 3. I even force it on my stubborn husband when he starts to complain of razor burn bumps on his neck. That's pretty good stuff!
The Best!

This product is by far the best for ingrown hairs. I would not try anything else because Tend Skin does the job! I highly recommend this product!
It works

I could not live without this. Works great for the bikini line. Only hurts a second but prevents bumps. I do not recommend on the face because it is too harsch.
It Works

I'm one of those guys who shaved with a razor for awhile and wondered why I got all those red bumps on my neck. Well, it got so bad that I finally went online and did some research. After googling razor bumps Tend Skin came up. It seemed like many people had a good experience with it so I bought some. Also switched to an electric razor instead of a blade razor.
Amazingly, I saw results within the first 4-5 hours of using this stuff - a lot of the smaller red bumps disappeared entirely. The big red bumps seemed to shrink noticeably. (Yes, you see the results within 24 hours... at least I did).
The first thing you notice is the smell - it has a sharp (but not necessarily strong) vinegar smell. Ok, so you wouldn't want to bathe in this stuff... Second, you notice it stings (like rubbing alcohol) on your skin for ONLY 1-2 seconds. Interesting but for what it does, I can live with that.
Well, I've been using this stuff for over a handful of days now and 90% of my razor burn/ingrown hairs are GONE. This stuff is amazing...
I use this stuff 2 times a day (morning/night - after shaving). In the morning I use a Q tip and lightly dab the razor bumps. In the evening I use a Cotton Ball and get more on my neck/face. I've used this stuff for almost a week now and I have yet to use anywhere near 10% of the bottle so it will last a very LONG time (months at this rate). Now that most of my razor bumps are gone I'm using less and less as well.
Anyone suffering from razor burn/ingrown neck hair like me - get this and you won't be disappointed.
Some shaving advice: If shaving with a razor - do not shave against the grain (this will cause razor bumps). If shaving with an electric razor - shave against the grain. If you have razor bumps stop using a razor and get an electric.
It hurts!

I don't shave too often, so until recently I had used the more generic brand items to mitigate razor burn. I was optimistic about an upgrade, but disappointed shortly after when I used this product. It was rather abrasive, and left a light rash on my skin for about an hour after use.
I LOVE Tend Skin!!! The best to prevent and treat ingrowns!!! (For bikini and face)

I have been using Tend Skin to prevent and treat ingrowns in my bikini area for about 10 years. I still get a couple ingrowns a year but they go away in a week or so while using Tend Skin. I recently tried another product called Princereigns (for several weeks) but it was awful --- I got more ingrowns than I've ever gotten in my life. I am now back on Tend Skin and the ingrowns are already on their way out. Tend Skin works for me. My husband uses it on his face and he rarely gets razor bumps and ingrowns after I introduced him to Tend Skin.
Cons: It might dry your skin so just remember to use a good moisturizing lotion after use. It doesn't smell pleasant but the smell doesn't last once you put it on.
How to use Tend Skin: Squirt some Tend Skin on a cotton ball and apply on your skin. If you wax your bikini area, you may want to wait 2-3 days before applying Tend Skin. After you wax, your skin is super sensitive and Tend Skin may be too strong at that point. After 2-3 days, you can start to use Tend Skin twice a day. Always apply moisturizing lotion to prevent skin from over-drying.

This is the best product I have found for reducing ingrown hair and razor bumps on my face and neck. I struggled through my early adulthood with extreme razor burns and bumps, hating the thought of putting a razor to my face but ever since I started using Tend Skin I have rediscovered the joys of shaving!
Works on Binkini area!

This is the only thing that has worked for me. The bikini area is such a sensitive area, so I was worried it would irritate it further. If you wait a couple minutes after you get out of the shower, it hurts less, but after a few weeks its wonderful and I don't even have to use it every day anymore! Only downfall is the smell, it goes away really fast but is kind of stinky.
Works well if not shaving too frequently

Four stars since I dont know how it will work if I shave more regularly.
I had lots of trouble with ingrown hair on my legs for about a year after waxing. Even though I had pretty much stopped shaving for 6 months, all the ingrown hair did not break through. I have really dark scars from them. I have been using this product for the past one month and all but one have broken through and even my old scars are just starting to fade. I have shaved once after I started using this but have not had too much of a problem with ingrown hair except for the slight itchy feeling in certain areas once in a while. Also, I have been using it only once in about every two/three days after the first week when I used it everyday.
The ingredients seem to be aspirin and rubbing alcohol which are quite cheap and should be able to make this at home for a lot less. But it is working so well that I am reluctant to experiment with homemade stuff though this is expensive..... I am through with half the bottle already in a month.
I am going to try shaving twice/thrice a week and see if it still works.
