A good low/mid-end processor

Pros: it's Athlon. I can play BF2 at full settings-1280-1024 and it does NOT slow down at all. It also plays FSX at full(DX9)settings about 20-30 FPS. AOE 3 does not even begin to slow down
Cons: it's not the 9850?
my build: Athlon x2 3800, Nvidea 8500gt 512mb, evga low-end mobo, 1 gig 533 mhz, 160 HDD. Dell 17 inch

dont buy a 6000+ you dont need cuz you can oc this baby and take the same clock speed of the 6000+ whit less money

Blazing Fast!!!

Blazing Fast!!! This is certainly one of the best architectures that AMD has ever had. I think it's better than the Conroe because Conroe comes with a serious bug that could cause data corruption, for those who read the data sheets and white papers. The low power is excellent, 65W will definitely cut the cost of electricity. Cool and Quiet helps further by running the cpu at only 1Ghz for light loads. Speed automatically shoots up if you load a demanding game or application so you get the best of both worlds.
