Speed is not its strongest feature 2008-06-26
The Kingston flash drives are durable and reliable but they are really slow compared with others. Not suitable for moving large files.

Reliable and Cute 2008-03-12
I've been using this flash drive for about 2 years and it has never failed me. I carry it in my pocket to school, and in the past I've kept it on a keychain, which was really useful. It's not super-fast, but it is fast enough for anything you're likely to do with it. Sadly, the cap broke one day when I was putting it on - it split right down the side! Luckily, for me, the cap was more for looks than anything else.

Great 2008-02-15
I bought this over a month ago, I have had no problems with it. Does what it's supposed to do!

Kingston 1 GB DataTraveler well worth the cost! 2008-01-24
This flash drive is reliable, sturdy and fast. At 1GB of memory it offers a much better value than other flash drives of its size, which tend to be overpriced. I'm very happy with my purchase.

1 Gig Flash Drive 2008-01-20
The flash drive was worth every penny. It was cheaper than getting one in town, only the next week it was on sale for $9.99. I spent the money on shipping intead of using my gas to get to the store that had the sale. Otherwise the Kingston works very well (Ihave several smaller Kingston flash drives that I have purchased in the past) and holds a ton of my files that I nedd for school and work.

Works on Linux 2008-01-18

Cheap but slow. 2007-12-31
Don't expect to quickly put data onto this device.
SLOWWWW transfer to but NOT from.
Data comes off super quick.
Affordable but SLOW!

Works like a charm 2007-12-07
I've had my Kingston drive for quite a while now and haven't hit a problem yet with it. It's hard plastic casing is sturdy enough for carrying around in your pocket (with keys and change and all that stuff) with no ill affects. Really the highest praise you can give a USB flash drive is that it's fast and reliable. This one has been both for me.

Good Product 2007-12-03
Works perfectly, in my experience Kingston flash devices never fail, so any flash device from this brand will last a long time.

You get what you pay for 2007-05-13
I was looking for a cheap thumb drive and I found this one advertised for only about $7. But when I went to place the order there was about $8 shipping, for standard USPS ground! $15 dollars is still a great deal, but I've paid less than half that much in shipping on books that weigh tens times as much as a tiny thumb drive. I haven't had any problems with it on Macs. But it seems like about half the PC's I've put it in don't read it. It didn't come with software because it's supposed to be plug and play. I guess you get what you pay for.
