Works Like A Charm

I've always had trouble getting a good reading with manual tire gauges. This one is easy to use, and the display is big enough to read even while juggling the air hose, a handful of quarters, and the valve cap.
Okay, but not great

The price was right so I bought a few of these. I do not find them very easy to use. They have to be perfectly lined up to get a reading and not let air out of the tire. The display is not that readable either. At the price, they are okay, but not great.
Nothing Fancy. . . It Just Works

I've owned this item for a few months now, and used it several times, all without a problem. There's nothing "fancy" about it, which I like. It's a straightforward tire gauge. I've been very happy with my purchase.
A must have for everyone.

I have a small compressor at home, and it has a built in pressure gauge that I used to believe. I got this, and realized that the pressure gauge in it was off by up to 5 PSI, which makes a huge difference.
Pros: Tiny, Light Weight, Accurate, Inexpensive
Cons: As other reviewers said, you need to put this onto the valve straight on, and press hard. Otherwise, air leaks out. I over-inflate the tires, and then use this to let some air out until I get to the correct pressure.
Overall: I have used this for over three months, on all of our families cars. I have never fully deflated a tire with this, and it has never taken me more than three tries on a valve to get it to seal. For the price I think it is worth it, and I would definitively buy it again.
Works well as advertised

Like the title says, works well as advertised. Cheap price and quite small, it's got a special spot in my glove compartment. The digital meter thing is easy to read in daylight. Also, it'll take a bit of practice but to keep air from flowing out the tire, it's gotta be put on a certain way--straight so it can be accurate. Hope you found this review helpful!
Hey, it works.

Keychain Digital Gauge in black with larger display
Lovely Product

Small lovely product. Does what it's meant to do. Can easily be carried every were you go. Love it.
nearly impossible to use without deflating tire
2008-05-27
The gauge has to be e-x-a-c-t-l-y lined up or else you won't get a reading. Worse yet, you'll deflate your tire. I've lost 5psi out of a 30psi tire once trying to use this.
Thought this was just a cheap china knockoff that would break..

This thing has seen better days since i bought it around a year ago. it was five dollars, and i knew it would only last around two weeks, but that's all i cared about. i've sat on it, burned it, threw it with my keys on the keychain, and it just won't die after i have lived with it for that long. i don't know what kind of magic dust they put on these things, but it does what it says it does, and it is surprisingly accurate (within .5 LB) so do yourself a favor, don't buy a $15 tire gauge at pep boys. order this and it'll treat you right.
Accurate and inexpensive

I got this to use with my bicycle, which requires anywhere from 35-80psi.
I have a more expensive precision gauge for work on my motorcycle but it didn't have the range I needed. I figures this would be an inexpensive solution.
I have to tell you I am surprised that such a small inexpensive gauge is so accurate. It had identical results as my precision analog gauge in all tests I did.
The only issue I have is that it takes a bit of getting used to in order to get a proper seal with this digital gauge. If you hold it off angle from the valve stem even by only a degree or two you will not get a proper seal. Like I said though, you just need to do it a few times to get used to it. Other than that it's outstanding!
Small, lite, accurate reading to 1/10 of a PSI, and it powers on and off by itself.
In fact, I may just have to order a few more of these so I have one for every vehicle.
