Strange dialogue ! 2008-05-18
Denise's voice makes you want to turn the volume off and just watch the DVD and follow (WITHOUT SOUND) !!!

I hate this workout 2008-05-06
I really hate this workout. Its not challenging at all, and the instructer is way to perky and cheerful. I ended up buying a different workout, because even my husband couldn't stand listening to it while I worked out, and I couldn't get motivated to do the workout.

Keeps you active! 2008-04-28
I have always been very active. I am an athlete and I run every day. When I got pregnant I got this video to keep up my activity level. I really enjoyed it! It isn't that hard, but it does get you moving. I don't think that this should be the only working out you do during your pregnancy, but it can definitely be a good addition. I walked a lot during my pregnancy, ate healthy foods (sometimes a lot of healthy foods!), and I did this workout video. I felt great throughout my pregnancy, had an easy labor and birth, and quickly lost my baby weight without having to go gung-ho with working out. I recommend this video if you are an active person, and want to have something safe to do on those rainy days!

Easy and cheesy... 2008-04-18
This is not a challenging work out at all. The cardio portion is not long enough and barely had my heart rate up. The toning section is ok, but she doesn't do enough reps on any exercise.
I'm sorry to say this, but Denise is beyond perky and irritating through the whole work out as well.
This might be good if you're a beginner, but not a satisfying prenatal work out otherwise.
Why is it SO hard to find a prenatal work out this both safe and challenging???!!!

Perfect Workout for Safety During Pregnancy 2008-04-12
Let me preface that this is "Geoff's wife" writing this review. I love running - outdoors or on the treadmill & was in very good condition. As my pregnancy progressed, however, I began to experience the joys of Morning Sickness - only it was All Day Sickness! My doctor was also concerned because my runs were putting my heart rate above their recommended 130-140 beats/minute range. (I was averaging 150 - and it was increasing as my morning sickness got worse). With Denise's workout, my heart rate stayed between 120-128 beats/minute during the cardio workout - just in line with my doctor's recommendations. I am 11 weeks now & feel really good after I finish Denise's routine. I was also impressed that Denise included the guidelines of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists & incorporated them into all of her workouts. This DVD also included 1st/2nd & 3rd Trimester Toning ... although there are not a lot of reps on the DVD, you can easily learn the toning exercises & do more reps to your own music after the DVD is finished.

Not What I Expected 2008-07-01
I was really excited to get this one in the mail ,but once I did and started the routine I was really bored! I am pregnant and want to feel like I have exercised. This video should be labeled beginner, beginner!

Good DVD for exercise beginners 2008-07-01
I liked that this DVD had different workouts for different stages of pregnancy. Since I was a moderate exerciser before pregnancy with a background in dance, I found the routines a bit boring. This video would be good for a pregnant woman who has not exercised in a while or is a beginner.

Love it 2008-06-09
I rented this from the Library to check it out and yes its a little easy but its great. You do sweat but its not where you are out of breath. Fun workout DVD~!

ok 2008-06-05
If you can take her annoying, "soothing" voice, the workout is probably pretty good. I could only watch it a few time b/c as my hormones increased, the more annoyed I got with her. I almost threw the remote at our plasma tv when I first heard her utter "I worked out everyday of MY pregnancy - even on the day I delivered my first." Luckily, my husband was there to restrain me.

Great for expectant mothers of multiples! 2008-05-29
I had read other reviews that this workout DVD was a little easy for those of us who work out on a regular basis. Something still told me to order it (thinking maybe I'd use it later in my pregnancy), and now I'm very glad I did! When we found out we were having twins, my doctor put the kibosh on my harder workouts I'd been doing up to that point (i.e., no more cardio kickboxing!). This DVD is perfect for me, as it's nice and low impact, but still lets me feel like I did something, and gives me that mood boost that working out provides. Since we are a unique group, wanted to share that if you are expecting multiples, this might be the DVD for your pregnancy too!
