An extension of the first

Great game. Nothing really new here, other than just killing the bad guys. But well worth it. Love the slo' mo.

I bought this game for my husband and he loves it. He won't stop playing!
Spooky!

This game rocks! Any FEAR game is well worth the money. It scared the pee out of me and made my hairs stand on end during game play. Try it!
Stunning squad tactics just like the First FEAR

I felt the game length was just about right, it took me about three weeks to finish it. This is identical to the first with the same pace, weapons, etc. Nothing wrong with that as the first FEAR was the best shooter I have played. The AI is incredible with realistic flanking squad tactics. Most shooters you can kick in a door and then exit and pick them off, here they will pursue you and throw grenades. If they have cover they will wait for you or try to flank you through another door. Quite amazing when you see the soldier knock the table over and use it for cover while his companions go through side exits to flank you. I can do without any story and almost feel like the horror aspect and cut-scenes take away from the game for me.
Short 'N' Sweet

I'll be brief; this expansion-pack to the creepy best-selling 1st-person shooter game of 2006 doesn't last that long, but it will freak you out plenty in the few hours it takes to go through the levels. Moody music, detailed graphics and scary environments are all included, just like the first game. While there's really nothing new presented here, it does continue the story with the same thrills and chills that the original provided. My biggest complaint: I kept forgetting to use the slo-mo feature to mow down my enemies. Boo hoo. Otherwise, well, it totally creeped out my girlfriend, who hates scary games and movies...and what better recommendation would you want?
A quick knock-off of a very good original

The F.E.A.R. Extraction Point takes you back to the paranormal dangers you faced in Armacham headquarters. As an elite soldier called in to deal with it, you realize this crisis could not be contained. Once the hunter now the hunted, your new mission is simple: Escape. Supernatural entities are wreaking havoc on everything and anything that crosses their path. You are trapped in a desolated city and your road to freedom hinges on the ability to destroy all that get in your way. The only question that remains is, can you reach the Extraction Point? Expansion pack only. Requires FEAR game
more of the same (though not necessarily a bad thing)

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point doesn't advance the story or gameplay of the original F.E.A.R. much, if at all. Many of the environments are similar, if not the same. There are some new enemies, but the novelty wears off quickly. The plot simply kills more people this time around.
The scare factor, though, is entirely different. Whereas the original FEAR would screw with your head, flashing apparitions and broadcasting static over your radio, Extraction Point is point-blank horror.
LOVE THIS GAME

This was my first new 1stshooter game since i got my new pc. its not strong but the game was awsome i actually bought my pc for this game, i wanted it badly since i played its demo with my old one, it was lagging like hell but i LOVED it. The story line is very twisty, it doesnt involve u in the start but later on u keep figuring out very wierd and twisted things, its very nice, i love the game. It freaked me out alot too :D.
A good enougn expansion

The FEAR expansion was very fun, just as fun as the original game. The new weapons didn't change the game much though. The computer AI seemed better and more dangerous. However right as your really getting into it the game just ends. This thing is just to short so make sure you play it on hard to get the most out of it.
FEAR!!!

You should FEAR not having this game! This is the best FPS I've played in YEARS. This expansion was kind of short IMO but well worth the buy. Can't wait for more. FAR les bad language in this expansion. The main game went overboard and I'm not easily offended by language.
