Doctor's brushpicks 2008-10-05
My husband and I were delighted to find these brushpicks available on Amazon.com. Our dental hygienist gave us samples a year or so ago and we loved them; our efficiently they cleaned between our teeth after meals and snacks. Recently we were unable to find them in the stores here. Our dental hygienist tried to convince us to use another type, but we find the brush picks far superior. We ordered a life supply for fear the company will stop making them. The product arrived as advertised and in good time. Thanks.Doctor's Brush Picks 120S (Pack of 12)

Probably the best Substitute for Floss on the Market 2008-09-12
If you need a portable flosser or toothpick, this is most likely the best product you will find on the market.

Each plastic toothpick/flosser, fits between the teeth at the gum line and effectively cleans this vitally important area. I agree with one of the reviewers that the product is rather flimsy and will wear out with one use, but even so, this is the best designed product available.

The one drawback to this product is that it does not get between the contact areas of the teeth. This contact area is important to clean as this is where cavities often form.

An alternative to this product, that cleans the contact area and the area below the gumline is Reach Access Power Flosser (Colors Vary). This flosser does a beter job, but is not as portable as the Brushpicks.

Comparison to old product 2008-06-15
I bought my first package of this product a few years ago and only used them occasionaly when I would remember. Lately I have grown to appreciate what a great job they do on my gums. They remove particles from areas missed by products of this type and actually make a difference in the health of problem areas where there are pockets. I am about ready to buy new ones and reading the review of the person that complained about the present product was worrisome. It seems the more recent product is inferior. My old ones held up beautifully and did a wonderful job now I read people have to use more than one because they break or wear down in use. My original ones also carried 300 to the package. I would happily pay more for the same product rather than less for an inferior one. I see that the newest product is more expensive. I hope they have raised the quality to the old level. I don't know of a
competing brand. Another product that made a real difference in my gum health was the Water Pik. The difference was even noted by my dentist.

The best toothpick ever 2008-06-05
If you really want to get in between your teeth these are the toothpicks for you and they do not break like wooden toothpicks. Great for your gums as well.

Best toothpick in the Universe? You dedide! 2008-04-24
Beware, the Doctors Brushpicks are dangerously habit-forming!

Between the brush end and the ridged pointed end, these toothpicks are far beyond the competitors' little floss-holders and other odd-shaped devices. And they surpass the traditional toothpick (a hard act to follow) by really improving both the cleaning and picking abilities.

Lousy compared to 2008-01-17
i've used Doctor's Brush Picks for 5 years or more...i considered them indispensable and even think that's why dentists have told me i take good care of my teeth...i bought 5 years supply of them way back then...since i just ran out i bought over a thousand more...i'm extremely disappointed in these new ones...they're better than anything i can find though...on Doctor's Pick's literature they say the ends are better , stronger , more pliable...that's bunk...compared to the older ones they're terrible...the one reviewer talking about how they are lousy after a couple teeth is correct...the older ones had stronger, evenly parallel plastic 'hairs' evenly sticking out from the main shaft with a strong thick pointed shaft at the other end...the 'hairs' would last weeks...i've carried one in my pocket for a couple weeks or more...now, the new ones with those little, flimsy, cascading 'hairs' don't do nearly as good a job of cleaning...they're weak and the other end is thinner, weaker also...the end with the plastic weaker, thinner hairs breaks , too and the older ones never broke or wore out...so, the pitch you're given by Doctor's Picks company is hogwash...they just skimped on their product which cost 1/1000 of a cent to make one so they could make this one for 1/10,000 of a cent...oh well..business is business...john

Good for your teeth 2007-12-02
The Brushpicks Toothpicks are very good. My husband and I use them every evening as we watch television. Our dentist has commented that our teeth and gums are in better condition.

Brushpicks Toothpicks by Doctors - 250 Each

I sent these to a friend in England, unopened. I gather all was OK.

Brushpicks Toothpicks by Doctors 2007-08-23
These brushpicks are awesome. They are slim enough to go under bridgework and strong enough to remove meat from teeth. I highly recommend them to anyone who currently uses toothpicks because they are flexible and will not damage demtal implants or bridgework.
