Nice starter scooter and better than Red Ryder Scooter overall

Razor makes good scooters. At the same time we purchased this one we purchased the Red Ryder and later returned the Red Ryder. The plusses for the razor are the adjustable handle bar, solid construction, lower price and the ability to fully turn the front wheel. The Red Ryder did roll better and was initially easier for the kids to ride. Didn't like the restricted steering.

I bought this for my 2 yo nephew. He always tried to ride the bigger ones but they were too heavy for him. This one is perfect!! Since the tools you need to put it together are included (along with storage of the tools on the Razor itself)putting it together was a snap. He didnt have to wait long to get to ride. Tough product, looks great, and has the Razor name...what else do you need???
Great for the child not ready the big kid razor 2008-01-19
We purchased this for our daughter who is just not physically ready for the older kids razor, and she just loves it because she gets to be like her big sister. It is definitely faster on this one than she was on her Dora scooter.

I thought this was going to be one of those toys that would at first be exciting and then forgotten. I was wrong! My daughter loves this scooter and really enjoys scooting to all sorts of places that we used to walk. For a scooter I found it to be really safe with those 2 back wheels placed well enough apart to give it good stability. A well made toy thats lots of fun.

my grandson loves this scooter for a 4yr old, it's good for them to learn on, they can have alot of fun with it, until they move on up to a razor scooter.
Bought both! Pink and Blue... 2008-07-02
These are great and stable for beginners. My two daughters love them (I couldn't get the same color; too confusing!) These are for smaller size kids as the scooters are tiny but my girls are small! I took them to the park with these scooters last weekend and they rode them all day. They didn't get up until 11:00 a.m. the next morning they had exercised so much while having a blast.
Pink Razor Kiddie Kick Scooter 2008-06-30
Great product. My almost four year old was jealous that her older brother and sister had a Razor scooter and she just didn't have the coordination to ride yet, and then we found this. She loves the color, and the fact that it has a cool spare "tire" on the back. We love that it is a razor and it has the added stability because of the dual rear wheels. Great product!
Fabulous for Four Year Olds 2008-06-23
The Razor Kiddie Kick Scooter in pink was a huge present for our four year old. She hopped right on and took off. It is so well balanced, easy to steer, and just fast enough for our four year old. The scooter is very light weight and the perfect size. Easy assembly and maintenane, plus I already have had great customer service from Razor in registering for product updates. Great purchase!
Great Scooter for little ones 2008-06-13
Hi,
We received this as a gift for our 4-year old daughter. It is nice because it is slower than the 2-wheel models. It has a very sturdy plastic platform and she loves it. It does not tip like 3-wheel models with the 2 wheels in the front and one in the back (like the one a friend has). Great for younger kids.
Great toddler scooter! 2008-05-27
We did quite a bit of research before buying this scooter for our 4 yr old son. We wanted to start him out on a 3 wheeler so he could learn the technique before setting him loose on a 2 wheel scooter. He is thrilled with the scooter and loves to ride it. The only glitch we have had was that an adult rode the scooter (which was way over the max. weight limit) and the wheels broke. Our fault, yes... but to replace the wheels we would have had to special order them from the manufacturer and that would cost almost as much as just buying a new scooter! Other than that, we have been very happy with the product.
