Save your money and buy it cheap on eBay...

It's a pretty cool addition, but you should save your money and buy it used on eBay. It doesn't have enough to add to the game for the price.
great game ... amazon with great prices once again

My daughter bought this expansion pack (it's her 3rd one ordering from Amazon), and is having a blast with it
Best Stuff pack to date.

This is in my opinion the best Sims 2 Stuff pack. It has a load of stuff for spoiling your rich Sims and glamming up their mansions.
Sims is so fun

My daughter who is 23 loves the Sims games. She has to have them as soon as they come out. She and her aunt talk about it and share ideas.(so there's not an age limit)
Not bad for a stuff pack

EA stuff packs tend to be over-priced. This one does have some nice clothing and furniture meshes. It's worth getting, but better if you can get it on sale.

I really LOVE The Sims 2, and the Glamour Life Stuff is great! I really like the furniture and floors. The clothes are good, too. I am very happy with this game.
It was ok

I bought this and I was thinking it was going to include new hairstyles but it really did not. I think it was not worth the money I paid!
SIMS 2 Glamour

Who doesn't like a little glitz and glamour? I appreciate the availability and quick delivery of SIMS 2 expansion disks. I recommend added as many of these STUFF disks to your games as possible; it makes your SIMS 2 homes and people a lot more interesting.
One of the better Stuff packs...
2008-01-15
Stuff packs are designed as two things: #1) A cash grab for Maxis and #2) to add more items (no gameplay) to The Sims games in between expansion packs. They're a good idea in theory but often they rely on adding tons of lesser things like clothing and wallpaper/floors instead of things that Simmers clamour for - new hairstyles, edible food, and furniture.
Glamour Life is one of the better Stuff packs out there in that it does include a lot of new, nice furniture. There are a couple of main sets - a bedroom and a dining area that are in a similar art deco wood style. Aside from that there is also a huge number of decorations and accessories ranging from an elaborate chandelier to an Egyptian wall mural. The main colour schemes for both the furniture and the associated decor (floors/walls/accessories) are a few shades of wood (mahogany, orange, and pale blonde) as well as some marble (green, black, white) to add a bit of decadence to your home.
In terms of clothing, the game really only adds formal wear - tons of nice new things for the adult male and females but not much for the other ages. There are a couple of new regular outfits as well (fur coats and suits for the ladies for example) and silk PJs for the adults. There aren't very many new hairstyles or other 'looks' features.
Overall I think this is one of the better stuff packs because the theme is not as specific as other packs - you'll use the furniture a lot more than the items found in teen or family stuff because they aren't related to children/teens - they can be used lifelong. I've found myself using them a lot and am glad I own this pack, even if the initial price is a bit steep.
not the best add on
