In my experience they work well as long as you take them in the LATE afternoon, and don't drink or pee for AT LEAST four hours, preferably a little longer, like 4 & a half. It's a pain to go thirsty and not pee for that long for several days in a row, but these are so much cheaper than the pharmacy brands that I'm willing to suck it up. BTW, if you're hardcore trying, google "sperm meets egg plan."

Never got a "true" positive

These are good b/c they are inexpensive--much cheaper than store brands. However, I never got a "true" positive according to the instructions (I got kinda a half almost the same color as the control line and the other half was lighter). Also, I would recommend testing twice a day, b/c I would have missed mine otherwise. I got a negative in the late morning and then my weirdo half maybe positive at 530pm. I then used a Walgreens brand that a friend had gifted me to confirm the positive and that was a lot more definite positive. So I would use these again with a store bought brand as a backup to confirm. much cheaper to do it this way! And after 2 months now I just got a positive HPT 3 days ago! Yay me!
These are junk!! 2008-03-20
The ovulation strips are junk....either I got a bad batch or they are just junk!! I used them exactly as directions indicated...Exp. date is 2009 but I never got a reading with two lines....only the test line appeared.....I tested with a regular store brand and got a normal reading (LH surge). I will never buy these again.

This product was okay. The shipping was on time and the tests were individually wrapped. Its nothing fancy but I have been able to tell when I was ovulating every month. It can be a bit tricky but if you read the directions it should work fine.

Detects LH surge a day or two before BBT shows ovulation. Easy to interpret, and for me it shows a slightly darker negative the day before the strong positive so I get an extra head's up. Cheap enough to have a few for each cycle, too, so I can start testing a little early and don't have to worry about missing the positive.
