Very good product 2008-02-16
I bought these crutches about 10 days ago and they work very well. I will be using them for at least another 7 weeks. I really like the fact that they fold up and the spring action makes walking easier.
I had a small problem with them and I called the company and they were very nice and send out the new part in only a couple days. I highly recommend these cruthches.

Millennial crutch 2008-01-29
What a great product. These are much better than my old pair of standard crutches I have been using. I have been on crutches for 5 years due to an permanent injury sustained in a head on car collision. My left hip is partially fused and my left leg is approx 3 in shorter than my right. These crutches are so comfortable and convenient to use. I especially enjoy the shock absorbers on the bottom of these crutches. Much better feel when using these crutches I cannot say enough good things about them. They are definetly worth the price difference over the cost of a standard pair of cruches.

VERY COMFORTABLE CRUTCHES 2008-01-27
I have been using these crutches for almost a year. I am in the process of having total hip replacement surgeries. These crutches are perfect for someone who is going to be needing them for a long period of time. The shocks help absorb impact and there is no discomfort under your arms.
I had to call the company to replace one of the handles and they sent me one free. They were great at helping me out. These crutches are just the best.

Excellent customer service 2007-12-16
Great crutch, wide arm support and ergonomic hand grip are easy on the body. Hand grips do come loose and need a simple hand tightening to secure - not a problem. I called customer service to let them know about the loosening issue and they promptly sent me out a new set of tightening screws. They actually called me about 10 minutes after I sent an email - no problems since.

Not mentioned is the attention these crutches get from people. Everyone loves them - and wants to try them!

awsome crutches 2007-09-19
OK, Noone wants to use crutches, but when you have to, shouldn't they aid you instead of hurt? These crutches do just that. The extended top arm hugs nicely against the body but away from the pit. (It's been over 100 degrees here every day since I had surgery on my leg, I definitely didn't want cruthes shoved into my arm pit. The spring loaded bottom takes all the shock and your body will stop aching. Also the design keeps you upright not hunched and pushed forward like standard cruthes, also alleviating pain. The colors are fun which is a nice touch. My favorite thing abouth these crutches is that they fold up as small as 24". They fit perfectly into the hard saddlebags of our Harley. We didn't have to miss the HOG Rally and we're off to Octoberfest in Daytona next month! These crutches are worth every penny. My Physical Therapist was extremely impressed. If you keep your eyes open, you will see the college and pro atheletes are using these crutches in lieu of the old standards the hospital charges you an arm and a leg for. Happy hobbling!

good quality - new design 2008-07-07
I had foot surgery and was unable to put any weight at all on the foot for at least 6 weeks. After two days on regular crutches I was looking for a "better mousetrap." The rationale behind the Millenial crutches made sense, so I ordered a pair from Amazon. They arrived within a few days, were easy to put together, are very adjustable and well-built. Before ordering I read one review that they were flimsy, but that is just not the case. In short - they are a very well designed, high quality product. In terms of use, however, I'm not sure they have helped me all that much. Sometimes I think the shock absorber/spring back is a little too much (kickback)... the tilt in the handle may or may not help all that much, as my wrists still hurt and I have developed callouses on my palms... the larger under-arm part gives me a little more stability, but the rocking motion is less than perfect. Then again - maybe all the problems I continue to have are just me. I'm a 61 year old woman. Perhaps the combination of inadequate upper body strength, poor crutch techniques, and a challenging environment (old house with narrow hallways, etc) are the real problems. Additionally, I'm sure most women would agree, that crutches and breasts are another not so great combination (regardless of the crutch). They get in the way and tend to chafe. In any case, despite my complaining, I would encourage people to try them to see if they work well for their individual needs. If they do... great. If they don't, it's a small investment, one worth making. Oh.. almost forgot - they do fold. I haven't used that feature, but it could prove very handy.

If you have to have crutchs, these are pretty good 2008-05-25
I am completely uncoordinated and when I heard that I would need crutches for at least 6 weeks, I freaked out. I live alone and knew that I would have to be fairly proficient since there would be no one to help me after the first few days. Well, three weeks in and I can say that it still really stinks to be on crutches but these are easy to use. The spring is very helpful. You don't feel like you're pounding the pavement.
My only complaint are the ergonomic arm rests. Because they are long and I am "big chested" they push against my bra and the underwires really squeeze in. I know this won't be a problem for most.
The folding feature is great although I find it a little hard to fold them, all the men around me see it as a piece of cake.
If you have to have crutches, these are the way to go. Be sure to buy a light, cotton messenger bag to swing across your chest so that you can carry things.

good luck!

very creative and comfortable 2008-04-25
nice to have a something so comfortable! Hope I don't need them too long!

Finally comfortable crutches... 2008-04-21
I chose these ones because they are foldable and so, they can be transported more easily on the plane or even on a motorbike. The "shock absorbing" system is amazing and they are really much more comfortable than the traditionnal ones, for the hands and for the back.

To resume, easy, practical and comfortable

These crutches are AWESOME! 2008-04-17
I have used regular crutches before so when I found out I had to have my ankle reconstructed and would be on crutches a minimum of 3 months I was not happy. I researched the Millennial crutches and was impressed by the design. I also spoke with someone who used them and was very happy. I ordered them and as soon as they arrived I put them together and took off. The underarms are comfortable and the hand grips make me feel more in control. And the springs at the bottom help to get me to the next step. I'm not looking forward to surgery but at least I know I will be able to get around easier. I just wish more medical supply stores handled this product. It was kinda scary to order something I haven't actually tried - but I was completely satisfied.
