Hi Everyone,
This product is fantastic .If a woman ever wanted to redo cabenits, walls ,dressers, etc this product is great .My cabnets came out beautiful , Now im working on the bathroom.I ordered this product last summer in2005 $$$$ on QVC network, when i recieved it i put it on a test part of my cabenits ,it stripped it to the bare wood ,I was so impressed i bought 6 more container s and fininished the job. I paid 32.00 a quart then now on amazon I will pay that for a gallon .THANK YOU aMAZON

This is by far the worst home improvement product I have ever purchased. It did not work one bit. Fact is, we put it up and then had to use water to take it down 24 hours later. What a waste of money. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Ready Strip Remover Review

For an earth friendy product this works well. It is not as easy as the infomercials show that it is, but it does remove the old finish. Does not always change color, but it can be used on a vertical surface, does not need water to remove it, and will not smell up the work area. For projects that need to be done inside this is a great product.

I am using the product on some old wooden doors, stripper works as advertised. Like many people I was skeptical about buying an "As Seen on TV" product, but this one does not disappoint.
BUT I found it much easier to work with if I took the doors off the hinges and laid them flat. I tried using Ready-Strip while the doors were still on the hinges, and had a tough team not dripping any of the stripper on the floor.
FYI at the time of this post other sites are offering free shipping and slightly cheaper prices for the gallon of Ready-Strip.

I am very skeptical about buying products such as this online or from the TV.I am stripping about 50 years of oil base lead enamel paint from a handrail and 10 support posts (about 30 inches high).I tried it on one post to see what it would do.I was amazed that all 50 years of paint came off on the first try!!!Unfortunately there was stain under all that paint and I had to do a second coat to remove that.Since I am picky about how I wanted this project to look I even used a third coat to get as much of the stain off that I could.The product is safe to get on your skin and smells like play-do.I will be buying more in the near future.One word of advice when using this---put on a thin coat and wait about ten minutes then a second heavier coat to completely cover the surface.I found that out through trial and error.All in all the product is the BEST paint and stain remover i EVER used.
