Office 2007

This is a decent product. It runs smoothly. The new interface took some time to get used to, but I like the change from Office 2003. The equation input in 2007 is much better and allows for more complex equations. This is a good deal for math and physics students.

Learning Curve

I waited and waited to upgrade. Mircosoft on line is fabulous for overcoming the learning curve. Tutorials and help are great. I am enjoying this product and glad that I finally took the step.

Packaging is not environmental friendly!

I was very disappointed to see the bulky plastic packaging for this product. I would think that Microsoft was confident enough with their product performance that they didn't feel the need to bulk up the package it comes in. Now I'm stuck with a huge plastic box that won't store easily with my other software products. The bulky, excessive packaging is recyclable, however, one would have to purchase a slim case to store the Office 2007 program disk in as there is not even a (recycled) cardboard envelope holder included.
Come on, Microsoft! Have faith in your product to sell without the excess junk encasing it, and get onboard with helping the planet by producing environmentally friendly packaging. You were a trailblazer once - set an earth friendly example now.

I know how to use the older full versions. This has changed a lot, so you will have to learn how to use it. Its worth the money.

You can load this on 3 machines. The new Office has a learning curve but it's a good program.

Missing many plug-ins

Bought Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 for my daughters who are in college... missing many plug-ins which are in included in the larger more expensive versions. We're going to see if the plug-ins can be downloaded from Microsoft's site but it was disappointing. One would have thought since it is a student version that MS would have included some of the base features found in their other versions.

Good price - but Office 2007 changes are annoying

Takes time to learn

This Vista version of microsoft office (2007) has lots of new bells and whistles that take some time to get used to. In particular, saving files as docx and emailing to friends w/o word 2007 can cause havoc. Otherwise it seems OK and I am getting used to it

Now, That's a Bargain!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the MSOffice Home and Student 2007. My Amazon purchase was less expensive than purchasing direct from MicroSoft. The Home & Student package contains MSWord, MSExcel and MSPowerPoint (among others), exactly what I need for my home computer. A great product at a reasonable price, "Now, that's a bargain!"

Counterfeit

I bought this copy of Office 2007 and its appearance is that of a counterfeit product, it came in a white sleeve and the CD label is off center with the printing qualities barely readable; there is also no instructions booklet.
