Five stars for a light soup, but cans come dented.

Excellent flavor and it's filling. A whole can is only 220 calories and 2grams of fat. How do they do it?

Probably the worst soup I've had. Potatoes in goo. Campbell's makes a low fat NE Clam Chowder far superior. I couldn't get through the 12 cans.

If you must eat low sodium this product is OK, but my husband and I found it lacking in flavor, and a little thin for chowder. Expected low salt but couldn't taste the clams. I assume there are some in there but not much.

The product is very bland to start with, and the few tidbits of clams included (believe the most i noticed in any given can was 5 pea size or smaller pieces), just leaves too much to be desired. What a disappointment
in this product to say the least, it may be healthy, which I don't really
believe, but there is certainly little quality except in the outrageous profit margin! Oh, but plenty of potatoes to fill the space, and they aren't very tasty either! Final thought, if you don't wish to be irritated, avoid this product, unless you like exceptionally overpriced

Good clam chowder 2008-06-28
Yep, this is thin clam chowder; that's why it's Healthy Choice and doesn't have a lot of calories compared to others. I am watching my calories and I really like this; it's what I usually go for when I want some soup.
Cans arrived dented and leaking 2008-06-24
I purchased several cases of this soup last year but the the majority of the cans were either dented or leaking. Amazon sent replacements but they were also arrived in the same shape. It looks like this problem might have been resolved from the latest reviews so maybe I will try again. But my experience with actual product was not good. Amazon did refund the entire amount including shipping. That is the only reason I gave the product a star.

I thought this was one of the better flavors of healthy choice soup, i just added a little pepper to give it a kick. not bad, and it's healthy!

i still cant believe this is so low fat! the web page lists the total fat at 3g/can, which is already low, but its actually even lower [2g/can] - and it tastes just like the full fat versions! obviously it does have lactose though, so if you're intolerant like me, take a lactaid pill beforehand and you should be fine
and at under $2/can [with subscribe and save], free shipping, and 2 min microwave prep time, it couldnt be a cheaper, easier, tastier meal

While it may not be on par with heavy cream based chowders, this soup is quite good. It has a thick consistency and a generous helping of potatoes and clam bits in every bowl. The chunks are smaller than average, but in greater abundance.
For me the salt content was just right; but, if you require your food to be saturated in saline--just add your own.
