Good buy for the Wii

I bought this for the Wii since this card has the maximum specs that the SD reader on the Wii can handle. It's performed well in the six months I've owned it, and the USB reader is a handy add-on to have for when friends want to upload some pictures to you.
Micromate SD reader and Sandisk 2GB SD card 2008-05-27
Great bundle at a low price. The SD card is perfect for your digital camera because it can hold a lot of pictures and video. Then it's an easy process of removing the SD card and plugging it into the Micromate reader and into your computer. No software to install, just plug in and go. With a USB 2.0 connection, pictures are downloaded quickly and soon you'll have more pictures on your computer than you'll know what to do with. Guess you'll have to upgrade to that new 500 GB SATA soon. : )
Works Like A Charm 2008-03-17
The Sandisk reader and 2gb card worked like a charm in my Vista and XP. Used it to download MPEG/MP4 files I created in the computer for my Video iPod to put in another device. Quickly recognized by each computer and worked flawlessly in the new device. Good price and fast delivery by Amazon.

The 2GB Sandisk is ok, works well, everything as expected. The really cool thing about this is the reader - I never have to bother about finding all the cables I have! Just take the disk out of whatever you have (camera, cell phone) and plug it into the reader! Really makes things easier!

This works flawlessly for me. However, the reader itself is a little clunky and has no cover over the card, so you can't *really* use this as a substitute for a thumb drive the way you can with the little IOGear reader.
Just make sure you don't own a Dell..

Card works fine in the camera, it is a bit slow but that's my own fault for not getting a high speed card. haven't used the reader yet but it seemed like a nice plus to have. the main problem with it so far is that opening the package took half an hour and I wound up with lacerations. should come with power tools or something to open it. Once you get it out, though, it's fine.

The card works great in the camera and we like the combo idea of the reader adapter to go into a USB port. It's probably safer for the card.
