The frame works great, easy to load pics with the included software. Picture very clear.

This is an excellent product.
The screen can be view from all sides. The brightness is high enough to be seen even with full sunlight entering the room.
Also we have cat which has knocked our screen over atleast a dozen times from about 2 feet high onto the carpet and it has survived everytime. Yeah we moved it. :)
We had some problems getting the pictures to rotate so they can be viewed correctly, but if you can handle doing a mass edit beforehand, or your camera rotates them automatically then no problem.
Love it.
Good product but bad photo software
2008-05-11
I spend 3-hrs trying to figure out the flawed software. It has problems with the SD card. The software kept hanging when I tried to copy more than five pictures from my PC. It also crashed my new windows Vista for the first time in 3-months. As such, it seems to be a good product. Wish they had a good photo transfer software and bigger internal memory.
Update July05, 2008: I have found a way to work around the flawed Philips software and its interaction with a SD card. Step(1): Move your pictures, 50-80 at a time, to the internal memory of the photo frame. Step(2): Now using the "move" function in photo frame, move the pictures from internal memory to the SD card. Step(3) Repeat #1 and #2, for all your pictures. Phoof! This works like a charm. If you are having problems transferring to your photo frames SD card, this will help. Cheers ~Neil

The reviews almost turned me off of this frame. I purchased it anyway and I am very happy with it.
Nice design, poor battery
2008-04-07
This digital Frame has a nice design, easy to access to the menu, But I would desire more battery just if you want me to tell something. It is a nice frame and it isn`t expensive at all if you consider the quality you can get.
dissapointment
2008-07-21
I spent a lot of time to organize my photos on the computer renaming them so they all are in proper time sequence. Guess what, the frame does not recognize the decimal order such that numbers 11 jumps ahad of number 2 like it was a binary code not a decimal number!
Another thing is that the frame cuts the top of the photos and displays two different size images for the same photo in its setup menu.
picture frame, digital

I purchased this digital picture frame for my daughter's graduation party. I love it and so did our guests. I especially like the timer feature, I now have my frame running from 8 A.M. to 10 P.m. I would highly recommend this item to a friend.
Perfect gift

I imported my twins photos to the frame and gave it to my mother-in-law on Mother's Day. She loved the gift.
Excellent digital photo frame
2008-06-24
This photo frame is an excellent one. It's design actually resembles a real photo unlike the majority of them that have a border that's 3" thick.
The features are very nice, with an easily removable face plate (magnetic), timers for auto-on and auto-off (3 of them), a cool group of transition effects between each photo (optional), and the ability to position it wide or tall as the format (it has a motion sensor that re-positions the images to match the orientation).
This is in fact a 9" model - I couldn't find it on Philips website, but it does exist. It's a nice size - almost perfectly matched to a normal photograph.
The only minor complaint is that the screen - though very nice quality - does not appear to look like a real photograph. I don't know if that was a faulty assumption to expect it to look just like a photo or not, but the LCD in this frame does not match a photo. It does have great colors, a bright picture (I like it on medium so it blends in with the room and looks more like a real photo), and a pretty wide viewing angle.
It's easy to drop pictures into it, but I recommend getting an SD card to put photos onto - it makes the process even easier.
A definite 5/5 when compared with the other digital photo frames I've seen.
Digital picture frame, nice display

Great size with a beautiful display but no memory storage. You have to buy additional storage.
