I often have trouble when I go to the toilet because my ipod's earphone cords get in the way. Not anymore!
Moreover, the dock has an incredible dynamic range with tweeter AND woofer speakers. I feel like I am in the front row of a Hannah Montana concert. This product really offers the best of both worlds.
My only compliant is that the dock did not come with a roll of toilet paper as pictured. This did not present a large problem as replacement rolls are easily acquired from supermarkets in the course of ones grocery shopping.

The pinnacle of Western engineering! No man or woman will ever again have to yank her/his Nano out of the cloudy bowl by its headphone wires. Plus you can hear the phone ring in the next room, which inevitably it does . I love it and use it a dozen times a day . So will you!!

This is genius. There is nothing more embarrassing than answering a call of nature in a condo with thin walls - well now this is the answer. Plug in the I-pod and turn the volume up. The tweeter and woofer combination ensures truly wonderful sound, and the tiles in the bathroom make the sound truly ring. And when you're done, just pick up the I-pod and go.
This would also work well for bathrooms that don't have locks. If you hear the music, you know it's not safe to enter. This can also be used if you need to let the odour clear. Just leave the I-pod in place for twenty minutes and collect it when it's safe to re-enter.
The finish is totally waterproof and easily wipe clean, which is handy to avoid damage from splashback - a common problem around the bowl. The turning action ensures a steady supply of paper. It works just as well if you fit the paper to come over the top or round the back, but I prefer to do it over the top. I imagine most people would be the same and I confess I do turn the paper round when I go to someone else's house and they have it the wrong way round.
The only hesitation I have is that the device does require AC power, but the adaptor that comes with it should take care of that.

The new Atech Flush iPoop Stereo Dock with Bath Tissue Holder is a genius invention. Great for taking a shower. Nice to have the tunes in the bathroom.

This is an AMAZING product. Not to mention ridiculous. That it even exists is pretty amazing. I don't think your going to see this for the Zune anytime soon. It is very handy to power up your iPod while you download.
Better than a phone 2006-12-10
WOW. I hope all the hotels start using these in the bath. Much better than a phone. Now, I'm hoping it will inspire my kids and hubby to change the TP roll!

One practical use is not another piece of equipment taking up room in the bath. Who doesn't like to listen to music in the john?
My wife is anxiously awaiting their latest item, a combination breast pump/iPod dock. What nursing mum doesn't enjoy a good lullaby for her baby?
