Valeon 20 lb ankle weights 2008-05-08
I specifically ordered the Valeon weights because I already had a set and really liked them. The price and delivery speed were outstanding: much better here in Alaska than I had in New Mexico through another supplier. I'm delighted!!

Ankel Wts. 2008-05-08
Received these ankle wts. about 10 days ago and have been using ever since. The individual wts. are removal and very easy to do so. I like the idea of being adjustable for different exercises. Feel these are excellant for the price and they certainly are easy to put on.

Weight-adjustable, Size-adjustable ankle-weights 2008-04-08
The weights are well-made and sturdy and adjust to the size of my ankle. Weight-packets are removable to adjust the amount of weight in use.
A good value.

Great weights 2008-03-31
I haved these for about 3 weeks. They are pretty good but when you are walking they move up and down but they still are fun to use. I like to walk around in because when you take them off it feels like your legs are really light. It is hard to run but really worth it.

Nice Weights 2008-03-23
I use these as wrist weights while using a Nordic Track Ski Machine. For this purpose they are great. I took four neoprene soda can coolers and slit them down the side to use as inner padding, two on each wrist. Stacking a cotton wrist band for sweat absorption, can cooler, can cooler, then pull the wrist weight tight on each wrist and they fit nice and snug and don't move around at all. Took a few times to get the sequence right but now it's a snap. Not sure the material the product is made of will last a real long time but I'm happy with the product and the price is right, plus ten pounds on each arm for an hour will give you an awesome workout.

Heavy, just walking with these is a great workout, with it was solid core. 2008-07-15
Very sturdy construction as far as the Velcro fastening straps and the two sets of two steel D-rings for each straps are concerned; good overall durability.
As mentioned by other reviewers, the pouches for the iron-based sand (I checked with a magnet) are not quite as sturdy as the fastening straps. The pouches are closed at the top with a long Velcro strip that goes from end to end on the ankle weights.
Ten pounds per legs is VERY heavy and I would recommend building up to it. I'm lazy so I never took the weights out to adjust the weight, I was tired just walking around with these for a little bit, but now I'm fairly comfortable walking in them and my walking speed is getting up to normal. I have not tried jogging for any length of time with these on, although I do jump rope with these on - good sweat.
Back to the product - it's great for the price and very durable overall, but the iron-sand has a tendency to shift and settle and makes the weights a bit uncomfortable or painful to wear when it chafes against the ankle bones (inside bones for me). These are also pretty large and bulky so getting them to strap on tightly is a bit of an issue, I'm not tiny, but not huge, 5'6" & 180 pounds, but the weights are just a tad too big and have a tendency to settle on my ankle bone. Using these with mid-top or high-top sneakers should help support some of the weight away from the ankle bone (I'm wearing mid-tops)
I wish it was solid core to reduce shifting and bulkiness.

decent for the money 2008-07-13
ok product for he money. complaints. Even with just a couple weights they sit atop the ankles and are uncomfortable- even hurt. maybe a pad liner on the inside would improve this product. 2nd the weight packs are a bit difficult to insert. be carefull and patient, the material is thin and won't take alot of force. My trick ; put them in part way and then lightly shake the belt up and down. strange but it works.
all around a good product for the money.

Bulky but works 2008-06-04
This product would be better for guys, but for small girls like me the straps don't really tighten enough, so they are really loose and bulky... but they are weight and its good to help out with my bad knee.

Awesome product but i could be better 2008-06-04
they work really well but uless you have big ankles these will slip other than that they are awesome

dunk 2008-05-15
hey i have been training with this set of weights for a month and they are great, they are very comfortable except for the fact that they weight a TON!,initially , i started with 6 pounds on each foot , and i use mainly for running , on the first week a i felt them so heavy at 6 pounds each a could not finish my 2 laps race on a local park i use to run, but a month later im being able to do the 2 laps struggling a little but not dyng anymore, and guess what !!!I CAN DUNK!!! , i have been using them for leg ups for my butt and they are very good as well, very confortable the only problem with them as other reviewer stated is that you cant hide them, other then that they are perfect, i bought it in substitution to the jumping soles , and they came out better than expected, and they are multi- purpose as well.
