The SIRIUS Sportster SP4-TK1 plug-and-play radio comes with car accessories: a cradle, an antenna, and a car power adapter. This handy car kit includes another full set of car accessories, which makes it easy for you to use the Sportster SP4-TK1 in a second vehicle. The SP4-TK1 sits snugly in the cradle, which you can secure to your windshield using the included suction-cup mount. The antenna attaches to your roof with its magnetic base, while the adapter plugs right into your car's cigarette lighter or power port to provide power to the radio. Send the sound to your car stereo using the SP4-TK1's built-in wireless FM transmitter or connect the cradle directly to your stereo's auxiliary input with an optional set of patch cables.

Easy Install

The car kit was a peice of cake to install. It only took us about 40 minutes to prep and install. I chose to NOT use the mounts. It sits nicely on my console. All wires hidden and it worked out great!!! I ordered TWO more!!! One for my RV and the other for the Mrs' car.
You won't be disappointed!!!!

Sirius Kit is OK

I ordered this kit so I could move my Sirius unit from one vehicle to another, when I needed to. I also use the kit to play my Sirius in the house over an FM stereo. How ? I bought a 12-volt ac adapter at a local electronic supply house, and using alligator clips, just jump from the positive and negative leads on the adapter output line to the appropriate leads on the cigar lighter plug that is furnished with the kit. That takes care of the power. For the antenna , I mount the extra Sirius antenna on an small, empty, steel vegetable can. It works just fine; so, you can get double duty out of a kit like this, and use your Sirius unit in another vehicle, or, in your home for the price of the small 12V adapter.
