Customer Reviews
Nice product. Works great on my fax.

This is a very nice product; works much, much better than the RCA variety that sends the signal through the 110v power lines in your house. That type of remote jack has a lot of noise on the line and the signal can be weak. When I pick up the phone plugged in to the RTX remote jack, it's as clear as a bell; I would have no idea it wasn't plugged in to a normal phone jack. Product works fine with my fax machine.

This wireless phone jack is used to hook up to our satelite TV's. It works fine. The only problem we experienced is the confusing instructions for setting it up. Once we got it figured out, everything worked fine and it is way better than having to hard wire a new phone jack and it can be moved between satelite receivers.
Works great.

With this device I can move my phone anywhere in the house without running a phone line. Also lets me get rid of my wireless gear( wireless router and wireless network card ). I have a power surge protector and it works when plugged into it. Great device.
Works like a champ

The hardest part of getting the DualJack to work was cutting through the blister packaging. The product worked out of the package in less than 1 minute. Saved me a bunch of money and works great.
not happy at all

I used this to connect my satellite dish to a phone line. At first it worked; for perhaps 2 or three months when I began to get a message that I didn't have phone connection to my satellite provider. I didn't worry too much or try to figure out what was wrong immediately. I did then try everything to find the problem (new phone cords, new locations) then wrote to the seller and to Amazon describing what I had done and asking for advice and what the return policy would be. That was about a month ago and I have never heard a thing from the seller although I did get a response from Amazon. Very unsatisfactory.

After reading multiple reviews here at amazon, i decided to buy the RT Dual Jack and it sure didn't disappoint. Like others i got mine to avoid the dish satellite connectivity fee. Setup is instant and with caller-id enabled, i can see who's calling in my TV set. Receiver Jack is 1 floor and 30 feet away and there is no issue in signal. Highly recommended.
Does exactly what it is designed to do

I purchased this to set my wife up with a corded phone in a temporary office location. It was simple to setup, just plug one unit in the wall by a phone jack and plug the phone line in. Plug the other one near where you need the phone and plug in your phone. Easy! It worked immediately and I cannot tell the difference in line quality from being plugged directly in the phone jack. I made this selection after reading many reviews and this prodcut seemed the most stable and reliable. A little more expensive but I would say well worth it.
Easy setup, no mess

I purchased this product after a lot of research and it is a very good device. I recommend it.
Works GREAT - Keeps DishNetwork receiver connected!

I didn't use this product for voice or PC phone line connection, so I have no idea how well it works for either. Like many of you, I needed (two, in my case) phone jacks for Dishnetwork receivers to avoid the $5 per month fee they hit you with for each receiver not continuously plugged into a phone line.
Set up is basically a non issue unless you need more than one unit.
1. Simply plug the base into a power outlet near an existing phone jack. Plug the line running to your phone into the DualJack base instead of your phone, and plug that phone into the DualJack base (so you can continue to use it).
2. Plug the DualJack extension into a power outlet near your satalite receiver. Use a phone chord to connect your receiver (or phone - whatever you're using the Dualjack for) into the DualJack extension unit. After a moment the light on the extension unit should go steady yellow if it can get a signal to the base unit. It's ready to work!
*NOTE: If, like me, you need another extension, you can program additional extensions to match a single base (up to 4 extensions per base unit according to the manufacturer). You simply plug and unplug the new extension 5 times to deprogram it, then connect the base DIRECTLY to the new extension unit using a phone chord - the input plug on the base to the only plug on the extension. With the base and the new extension directly connection by phone chord, plug them both into electric outlets and let them talk to set up the encryption and register the extension. After 1 minute, unplug everything and add the extension as described above. Amazon doesn't sell extra extensions, but you can buy online from a reseller recommended by the manufacturer (official website, click Buy Online link at top: http://www.dualjack.com/)
Nice thing about connecting your Dishnetworks receiver to phone line (other than saving $5 per receiver per month) - and what makes phone line hookup better than connecting to a home network - is that caller ID will display on your TV (enable that feature in your satalite receiver's setup).
Great product so far (2 weeks).
