What you expect for the price 2008-04-16
These earphones are not the best nor the worst and I am not unhappy by any means. They are exactly what I expected for $60. The bass is good not too much and not too little, but the clarity is a little off and the noise canceling is good for the office but maybe not for the plane.
For $60 bucks, buy them but don't be epecting to be getting Bose.

Good product as a whole 2008-01-24
Good product as a whole. Noise abatement only for low frequencies. When you listen to music, high frequencies (treble) are poor.

These headphones are pretty good... 2007-12-23
I've had several noise canceling headphones over the last two years. Initially I had the Bose Quietcomfort II series ones which were of course 'great'. I sold those (since I needed money) and replaced them with the Logitech canceling ones. They were actually really good and comparable to the Bose's but much less expensive. I can't really recommend them though since they broke after 2 months (no sound in one cup). So that brings me to this set. These work fine and have a decent sound, but the noise cancellation feature is the worst of the batch. They are also not as comfortable as the other two. Battery life is good. I'd say you get about 24 hours out of the 2 AAAs it takes. One thing that has happened after about 2 months of use is the folding feature at the top of the headpiece no longer locks properly (it's loose, but still functional).
Final verdict: I'd go back to the ones from Logitech if I had some assurance that they would work more than 2 months... Hope this has helped.

Meets all my expectations... 2007-11-24
I must admit right off that this is the first pair of noise-canceling headphones that I have owned. They seem to do the job quite well so far (after 3 weeks) and the fact that they fold for easier storage is a big plus in my book.

I would not hesitate to recommend these headphones.

The only minor nit might be that you have to move the volume control fairly high to get proper volume level. They can also get a little warm after extended wearing, but I think most "over-ear" type headphones would do that also.

The noise-canceling feature makes my airline travel a much more enjoyable experience. I am very happy I made this purchase.

Excellent sound + Long Battery Life does Reduce Noise as Well 2007-10-04
When i was on the ship, this headphone was help me to had some privacy by blocking unwanted noise. Sound Good, Battery is good i think is 50+ hours. Is good price as well. Easy to fold, all the feature u need for traveler.

Good value for the money - does exactly what I wanted 2007-09-01

Adequate 2007-08-24
Does not block as much sound as I hoped...which was my main reason for purchasing.

Earphones are comfortable (and I am picky).

Good Value 2007-08-13
This product arrived just as expected and in perfect condition. As far as performance, it works good but not great but for the cost, it exceeds my expectations. The main drawback I have is comfort, the padding is not quite soft enough and the pressure against the head is a little too great causing some discomfort after a while. The noise canceling feature works well. I have had several pair of NC headsets-some more and some less expensive and these are just as good as any I've had. The carrying pouch could be a little nicer too as it is just basic protection in a bag. Overall 4 stars.

A surprisingly good value. 2007-05-22
I just lost my second pair of plane quiet headphones, and just could not bring myself to spend another $200. So I decided to try this relatively inexpensive pair.

They offer very good noise reduction, reasonably good audio (esp for the price), and are quite practical for travel since they fold to a small size.

For those choking on the price for Bose or other fancy cans, I suggest trying a set of these.
