I have the Pixma Pro9000 printer, use it for printing large 13"x19" photos and also when I need some high quality photos fast. I have looked hard for 1 year for deals on this ink and the best deal is this 8-pack, which has all the colors this printer uses. When Amazon has a sale the prices get even better!

A great deal. I have a Canon printer(Pixma ip6700D)that uses 6 CLI-8 ink colors. It was much cheaper to buy this 8 pack (for the Pixma Pro 9000) with 2 colors I don't need, then to buy the 6 pack for my printer.

I actually have a Canon PIXMA iP6600D printer (which doesn't use the red and green ink cartridges) but this was the cheapest I could've bought the other inks anyway. Otherwise, I would've had to buy all the inks separately (6 of them at $12 each). The item shipped in very little time and got here before some packages that my husband had ordered the week before.

I managed to take advantage of a great deal through Amazon regarding this product. They were as low as $49.95! At less than $6.25 per cartridge, I had to stock up! Too bad the price has gone up over $30 this week alone. But, even at just over $80 per pack, that's still a good deal.

The ink is good, consistent. Too bad Canon doesn't make it easier to do refills or exchange old cartridges.
Genuine Canon Ink Tanks 2007-12-30
Bought an expensive Canon Pro 9000 Printer, so can not see any reason to compromise with generic ink. So far, Amazon has the best price for the real thing. Sometimes I think the manufactuers should give you the printers for free if you obligate yourself to purchase ink from them. Comparatively, the price was not too bad for this.

I LOVE Amazon, and this is the first time that I have been lead astray. I typed in i9900 (as I have a Canon i9900) and purchased this ink set. I did see the "6" edition come up too, but I figured that I needed the ink for all 8 colors. I sure hope this doesn't mess up my printer!!!
