Love it! Sleek and great sound!

We wanted IPOD speakers for the bathroom and the outdoors, well we found it all in one. This little speaker system sounds awesome and is so light weight and portable! Easy to take on vacation with us too! The design is fun and sleek! Even at the highest volume the sound does not sound distorted! Totally worth the money!
Excellent Sound

For the size speaker, this little guy produces excellent sound, especially if you're trying to fill a single room with music. I'd recommend the larger JBL Radial Speaker (non-Micro size) for situations needing a bigger sound (multiple rooms, up and downstairs, etc.).
Great sound for iPod Nano...

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it. We got this for her iPod Nano. It fits right in the dock great. Sound is great! My daughter was wanting one of these after she saw her friend's. This will be great for her college dorm room as it is compact. The remote that comes with is a great feature also.
I know this will get a lot of use. Highly recommend.
Great Sound, compact foot print

Though looking like it belongs in the "iSpeakers" department, make no mistake, this is an excellent product, well worth the money. There is no comparison to cheap (and sometimes not so cheap) docks and speakers, JBL's creation can play your tunes.
There's bass, the highs are clear, mid frequencies are there too. Listening to classical music I found instrument separation to be amazing for such small device.
Though it does not have an EQ control on the speakers, I found that "Classical" setting on my iPod sounds better than the others for any genre. This may have something to do with the internal EQ curve JBL implemented... Of course, this is very subjective and out of all presets you will most likely find the one you like best.
The "Micro" will fit on any messy desk/shelf, but I have a feeling it will perform better in an open space because of it's design.
The remote works exceptionally well, although don't expect lightning fast navigation, takes a little getting used to.
There is video-out, audio-in, and it can function as a USB dock (cable not included)
On the downside, due to it's size and shape there is very little stereo separation, unless you sit right in front of it. It would be awesome to have some kind of "ambient" or "virtual surround" effect available but I found it still performed quite well in a medium-size room.
I'm sure the more expensive (+$100) "High Performance" version will sound better, but the "Micro" provides an excellent price/performance ratio.
I found JBL Radial Micro at my local BJs club for $129.99 which made the purchase even sweeter, considering other stuff you get for around $100.
JBL iPod speakers

I purchased the JBL speaker system for my iPod. At first it worked very well and I was very pleased. After about 25 days, the product started to fail, producing loud clicks and pops and then stopping running. After several cycles of this behavior, the speaker system just died and was not able to reproduce any sound from my iPod. I returned the speakers for replacement, but was told that the speakers were no longer being produced and that I would receive a full refund once the return was received. The merchant has been excellent and I highly recommend him. The product was a big disappointment.
Great Sound and Design!

I really love this product. The sound is solid, and nothing rattles or buzzes. I use it with my nano and it fits great! It looks so modern and different too! Very lightweight and portable. Money very well spent!
JBL Radial Review

It was a $100 well spent. I am extremely happy with this unit. Sound quality is amazing for the size of the unit, it is very aesthetically pleasing, light and highly portable. I dont think I would have been happier if I had spent that money on anything else.
Only downside is that it doesnt have volume controls on the unit, you have to use the remote for it. And for the size of the remote, it is so easy to misplace it. Volume control is by far the only control I have used on the remote, it would have been better if the speaker unit had those controls too.

Attractive product with nice lines. Real good sound and volume. On/off button is in a somewhat inconvenient place.
Intuitive controls

Bose has essenetially always been a household name when it comes to superior docking products for Apple's iPod. However, with regards to controls, the Bose system provides us with a lackluster design and limited interface. The JBL boasts superior user interface and, although subjective, equal or superior aesthetics. The JBL remote control allows a user to interact with 100% of the iPod's user menus. Allowing one to not have to physically make any manual changes.
Great Sound Small Package

Although I read the reviews, I wasn't looking for something with particularly outstanding sound quality. I justed wanted to be able to listen to music in my office at night without having another program running on my machine. What I heard was far beyond what I expected. The sound is crisp and clear and I get no static whatsoever. I am more than pleased with this product and would recommend it.
