Holmes Tower Fan Is Ok

While it looks ok I was pretty dissapointed. It does not have enough power, even on high I don't think it blows enough to cool off a room. Amazon was cool enough though to accept my return and pay for return shipping.

We bought this fan for our home office so that we could set the air conditioner to a higher temperature. It has surpassed our expectations! It is quiet and powerful. It moves the air around our office so well that we almost don't even need the a/c.

This fan would be perfect for someone who is not hot, or a who just likes the white noise, like a baby. I turned it on and put it on high, and -- it was comical that a big fan could output so little air. I mean, when other people saw it, they kept saying "put it on high" and then laughing at it as they saw it already was. I have had fans 1/2 the size that pump out 200% more air. I had to get another fan and now this one is just taking up space.
