Not Bad. 2007-02-20
Works great. Only problem, if you consider it a problem, you have to press on it very firmly until you here it snap together if you want it to work properly.

works great!! so tiny 2008-04-24
This is great - I still use a "cord" headset for my cell phone, and now I can use it also for my laptop/skype by carrying this tiny accessory. very pleased. My $10 routine cell phone headset even gave OK performance in a speech-to-text program on my laptop (dragon naturallyspeaking; it accepted eight or ten sentences at 100% accuracy) although experts say the best headset possible is to be used for text to speech work. In short, this little connector device has several uses and is very tiny and cheap.

Simple solution for VOIP on the road 2008-04-21
I use this little adapter with my laptop and my Blackberry headset in order to use VOIP (my company's OCS, Skype, VonageTalk, etc.). It lets me make hotspot calls more discreetly since I don't have to pull on a jumbo headset. I can hear others clearly and no one has complained about my voice quality. It certainly beats toting around multiple headsets.

Works just as it should 2008-01-19
I am surprised on how hard it is to find this type of adapter. I can now use my phone headset with my computer and only need to carry one headset.
Get the Motorola 2.5mm `Mono Hands-Free Headset' it is dirt cheep and small, great as a spare or for travel or combine it with the T-Link if you are hearing impaired. Now you have a solution for your computer that is as good as the T-Link is for your phones.

Cool, cheap, and good 2007-10-02
This is the only place in the *world* I could find this type of adapter. Radio Shack apparently used to have one (Multimedia Headset Y-Cable, 42-2428) but discontinued it. I tested this item with a mono cell headset (3 conductors on the 2.5mm plug) and a stereo cell headset (4 conductors on the 2.5mm plug). It worked with both, but with the stereo headset, sound only comes through the right headphone channel. Sound records identically on both channels through the microphone however. Using this adapter I could use my cell phone headset to both listen to music and place Skype calls on my PC. The sound quality of both was fine. This is a very useful item to save having to buy a separate headset for VoIP calls.

Only mono (3 pin) 2007-06-25
This is only for mono headsets. If used with a stereo headset, you'll only have sound in your right ear.
