The 3-1/2-inch full depth clamp pads with V-groove provides a maximum clamping area, while a quick-release button provides easy conversion to the additional spreader. An added force amplification increases the pressing force to more than 1000 N (100-kg). Other features include a bar that extends away from work piece, the ability to work in both forward and reverse, ergonomic shape of handle for safe and fatigue-free work, and secure fastening. Solid, fast mid-size clamp

Wolfcraft's line of clamps have a large hand trigger. Squeeze the trigger and the clamp tightens. Pull on the smaller trigger on back and the clamp relaeses. No F or K clamp is as fast or as easy for clamping with one hand on the workpieces. The range includes 6" & 12" "mini-bar" clamps that have 2-3/4 non-marring jaws and 6", 12" and 24" bar clamps with 3-1/2" non-marring jaws. A 6" clamp opens a full 6", etc., and the clamp can be reversed for use as a spreader. Screw-handle K clamps generate more pressure, but for most uses for a 6 to 12" clamp, Wolfcraft' squeeze trigger applies adequate pressure -- very easily. Note that the bar sticks out a long way if you use a 12" clamp on a small (say 3" or 4") workpiece, so there's definitely a role for the 6" versions.
