Sonicare really is the best. Seems expensive, but buying new brush heads makes a difference, and spending some extra on your dental care is definitly worth it when you consider the money you're saving on fillings etc. in the long run.
Can't manage without it! 2008-06-10
My dental care has been much easier and more fun since I got a Philips Sonicare Elite about two years ago. I know my brushing is longer and more thorough and with less effort.
I use the subscription service to purchase new brush heads. The subscription service has been great. I get two new brush heads per month to re-supply 4 toothbrushes - one at home, one at work, one for my husband, and one for my mother, i.e. I start a new brush head at least every two months.
A new brush head feels so good!
Concerns:
(1) The rubber on/off switch on my Philips Sonicare Elite toothbrush at home is starting to tear around the edges and cave in. I am afraid that water will soon leak in and short out the battery.
(2) The joint where the handle screws into the brush head leaks water into the handle, which if not cleaned daily can produce a foul smell. Thus I clean it daily.
All in all, I am very happy with this product.
Great Toothbrush! 2008-06-09
My son always had trouble keeping his teeth clean from plaque build-up. I bought this new toothbrush and the dentist noticed how much cleaner his teeth were at his 6 month check up!
No more gum problems 2008-06-07
I always had issues with my gums bleeding before this tooth brush. My most recent visit to the dentist office and I had the best review. I have to say that it is all thanks to this toothbrush, and probably my poor use of technique with brushing with a regular toothbrush prior to this I now realize. :)

The Sonicare toothbrush was recommended to me by my dentist a couple of years ago. She told me it was the best toothbrush I could use, and I definitely think she was right. Like other reviewers have said, the replacement heads are expensive. But costly dental work is MORE expensive! These brush heads are just the right size for the average adult mouth and get my teeth sparkly clean. The health of my gums has improved greatly since using the Sonicare, too. Here's a hint...Purchase these replacement heads under Amazon's subscription plan and you win two ways: You save money and you don't have to worry about ordering. It's all taken care of you automatically by Amazon. :-)
Replacement Brushes 2008-06-25
I am very pleased with these brushes. Frankly, they were added to another purchase to qualify for free shipment. They fit my Sonicare Elite toothbrush perfectly and do a magnificent cleaning job. Their price is below Rite Aid's.
Great Deal on Replacement Heads 2008-06-25
These heads easily run about $35 in retail stores. Signing up for subscription for this item is a good idea, especially with the discount. I only with that they had subscriptions that delivered in longer intervals, like once a year instead of once every 6 months.
