Product is fine, but when I bought it I did not know exactly what I needed to replace my current remote. This product is based on a on/off switch for 9 (I think, doing this without the product in front of me) relays. My remote has 10 relays with a 3 way up/down/middle switch. So, this product is not the one I needed. I just didn't know that till I got it. Good product, though. Best price on the web, and quick delivery.

As president of my Home Owners Association, the company that installed our gate handed me 130 of these to pass out among the residents. After half of them were out, the gate company told me that they'd not been programmed properly. Fortunately, they are a snap to program. Open it up. Flip the 10 toggle switches to the proper code. Close. Use. Runs on a 9V battery.

I have pocket-sized remote that didn't work well from the street. I think the metal bars on my gate interfere with the signal. No problem for this model.
