I absolutely love this flatware set! It is not the set pictured, though. The actual set has thinner handles with a slightly curvy design. High mirrored finish. I liked this set so much that I ordered 2 more in case I lose pieces or if the pieces would begin to look dingey. I've had this set for almost 2 years now and the pieces still look shiney and new after being exclusively washed in the dishwasher- and we have very hard water.

I was really impressed by the quality of this set. For the price it was for sale on Amazon, it's just a steal. The finish is flawless, the utensils have a nice weight you can feel, and the design is amazing - very sleek and stylish, it would perfectly fit any contemporary kitchen. It actually looks way better than on the pictures! I bought this set for everyday use, but it can easily make into a "fancy" category.
Caveat: the plain cardboard package is definitely not for gifts.
Surprisingly good 2007-09-07
Although I have pretty high demands for flatware (I own several sets, some quite expensive), given the price (around $10 per set) I did not expect anything remarkable; however, I was really impressed with the overall look and quality. The items look better than in the picture. If the production stamps do not lie, they are made in Japan. After a couple of months, I did not notice rusting issues some reviewers had reported.

I only paid $13 for this set, which is a great deal. However, the spoons are shaped differently than normal spoons.

I was online to buy more and now I am upset that they are not being offered at "this time". I got mine for 9.99 and they are beautiful and strong. They wash well in the dishwasher. The edges are not sharp. I am very pleased and can't wait to buy at least 2 more sets. They will make nice gifts to those that have the miss matched of plastic sets.

I bought this for only $ 8. It comes in plain box, but the Flatware have a very good quality.

When I placed the order on Amazon's Friday sale, I thought it was worth the risk because the sale price $12.99 made this set cheaper than the used stuff in a thrift store. I ended up hitting the jack pot because the set was so beautiful that it almost took my breath away. I can't wait to show it off to my guests.
Impressive!! 2007-08-01
I have bought this set to replace the old onieda flatware set. The spoons and forks are very strong and spoons are shaped like a rain droplet, can withstand scooping of frozen ice-cream too..they might not be packed up fancily but they serve their purpose very well...i recommend it strongly and that they are good bargain...
