Transcend 4GB SDHC Memory Card 2008-06-13
I purchased the Transcend 4GB SDNH (Class 6) Memory card from Amazon and it has work very well in my Canon SD1000 for 640x480 (VGA) videos. That is the supreme test for performance. Great price too!

a winner, camera perfect, fast and furious 2008-06-12
This little sdhc card stores hours of video. I shoot everything from Eagles to nature, air shows, and has never failed me yet. I have several, as I do take that many movies with my Canon S3is camera. Hundreds and thousands of pictures and hours and hours of movies. I have yet, to have one fail on me. The pictures and videos below link are self explanatory.

everything you expect 2008-06-11
Used it for a few months now, and it is a champ. I would recommend it.

Works well. 2008-06-09
This card is used in my Canon PowerShot SD 750. It seems plenty fast and works fine with no errors or lost images.

Just insert, format it and go!

Great buy 2008-06-05
This 4gb sdhc card works great. In my Canon PowerShot A720 IS camera I get 1845 pictures at highest res. Will buy another for backup.

Great with Panasonic DMC-FZ18 2008-07-05
This product works well with the Panasonic DMC-FZ18, and for me, is an upgrade from SmartMedia with an Olympus D360Z. My Dell Outlet laptop just happens to have that card slot included, so downloads are quick and easy. As with those earlier memory cards, I will follow past practice in deleting images or formatting the card while it is in the camera, not in the card reader in a printer or PC.

Excellent performance, solid compatability 2008-07-03
I purchased this SDHC, Class 6 card for my new Canon G9 about 4 months ago because I needed a high-speed SDHC card for the new camera. Since getting it, I have ended up swapping it between the Canon G9 and my SD800, depending on if I was going to an event with point-and-shoot requirements or if I could sling the G9 around my neck and use it.

The performance so far has been excellent, I've fired off a 45-second sequence of continuous shots on my G9 (10MP camera) before at a wedding and the card has no problem writing all that out and just letting me keep holding down the button and firing off shot after shot. When you consider the raw amount of bytes the camera is processing and writing during a continuous-shot session, it's pretty dang impression that it's writing out so many MB/sec.

The SD800, at 6MP, performs swimmingly as well but the real performance bar to clear was the G9, which it handles with ease. Also swapping the card between cameras in the middle of shooting sessions has never been a problem as the card seems to be compatible with all my SD-based Canons without issue. I've never had to reformat the card or anything like that.

The "no brainer" attribute of purchasing this card is the combination of performance, compatibility and price... you could buy 4 of these things and just swap them in and out if you are a serious photographer.

I get 600-800 shots at 10mp on a single card at about 4-6mb each picture so I really can't imagine you needing more than one of these unless you were a professional photographer shooting at like 12 or higher MP with a trigger finger. But in that case you probably want to play it safe and use more cards, incase any 1 of them has a failure.

That was a tip I heard from some photographer friends; that you never want to buy bigger than a 4GB card incase you fill it up and it fails, then you loose hundreds and hundreds of pictures at one time. So in most cases having a few 4GB cards seems to be the sweet spot between safety and convenience.

I must be a dummy 2008-06-28
I'm not really sure how this thing works. I'm not literate when it comes to equipment like this, but I couldn't get anything to record on this card right out of the box. Am I supposed to do something with it first, before I can record anything? The directions are horrible and don't make any sense. As I admitted, I am not literate, but I think I can pretty much figure things out. This issue, I can not. Does anybody have any suggestions so I can change my rating on this?

I put the card right into my camera, as well as my computer and it doesn't read anything and doesn't even acknowledge that it is there. I feel like I wasted my money up to this point.

Good buy 2008-06-23
Wanted to have freedom to take more pics..... With 4 gb of space its more than enough.. For this price this is a good deal... It fits to my Canon S3 camera.. so no prob till now.

great for recording 2008-06-17
I purchased the Zoom H2 portable recorder and you'll be glad you have this high-capacity card for live recordings. The manufacturer says only certain brands of SDHC cards will work and this is one of them.
