Editorial Review
The iPod classic features an updated design on the digital media player you already know and love. Some of the new bits include a sleek all-metal enclosure, a massive increase in storage space, a thinner body, and a brand-new user interface featuring Cover Flow. Cover Flow allows you to easily browse through your music collection by flipping through each album's cover art using the Click Wheel. When you find the album you want, you can flip it over for the track listing. Just like you'd do with a real CD or vinyl. OMG - LOVE THIS!! 2008-05-02
All i can say is how have i gone so long without an ipod?! I have over 2000 songs, and approx 200 videos, but yet i still have soooo much space i dont know what to do with myself!! the only problem is that with the cover flow it tends to move a little slow. other than that, i am very happy with my ipod. =)

Nice Music/Video Player. 2008-05-02
I bought this iPod, as an upgrade to previous unit I had. I like the color screen very much and also like that I can watch videos in addition to listening music to on it. The feature is great when traveling by airplane, as it very compact which makes it easy to put in a carry-on bag. It is just a shame that Apple decided to stop shipping the iPod with AC chargers. My last iPod came with one and it was great when traveling, as I do not always take my laptop with me. This means I do not always have my laptop to charge my iPod with.

iPod connector 2008-04-28
This iPod is similar to my old iPod (60 GB), but there is a one point that really disappointed me: it is impossible to use the earphone-connector (above the iPod) to watch videos on tv. I have a good cable to put the iPod on tv and now I can't use it anymore. You have to buy a special cable with doc-connnector to plug the iPod on tv. I don't know why Apple did this change.

I think ipod could be so much better. But it is good overall. I would buy again if I needed to.

Cool product 2008-04-28
Apple Ipod classic 80GB is a complete companion. The huge storage really helps to keep more collection and allows you to enjoy variety.

Not as great as original 2008-04-27
The new iPod classic definately does not live up to the original. It is very slow and freezes up all the time. I am very disapointed in this purchase. The 80 gigs is great, and it is very slim, but I would rather have the last version of iPod over this one. Overall, the performance is not that great.

If you are looking for a convienant way to organize your Music, Movies and Pictures the 80 gigabyte iPod is a must have. It has enough memory to hold all the songs you will need to complete your personal soundtrack as you go through out your day. And during those down times when you need something else to watch rather than your own life, you can select from a variety of movies that you can load and unload from your iPod. And when you are stuck with a stranger and have nothing to talk about, your picture library can help you brag how cool your life is and helps explain how popular you have become. It is slim and small so it can fit in your pocket without a bulge and it is light so it isn't a burden to carry it around. I have had my iPod for a few months now and love it!

The least compatible iPod ever. Read if you are upgrading! 2008-04-26
A few things that Apple doesn't tell you up front:

- No USB 1.1 Support
- No Firewire support

That means these won't work with most of the Powerbook line of of Apple computers.

- They changed the video out ability.

It doesn't work with Apple's universal dock with video out, the older MYVU headsets and anything else that is more than a year old.

Other than that it works fine. The graphics are a little jumpy, like the processor is underpowered, but no big deal.
