Editorial Review
iPod nano is the small iPod with one very big idea: Video. Now the world's most popular music player lets you enjoy TV shows, movies, video podcasts, and more. The larger, brighter display means amazing picture quality. It features an anodized aluminum top and polished stainless steel back. It'll wow you for hours. Play up to 5 hours of video or up to 24 hours of audio on a single charge. iTunes provides music, movies, TV shows, games and more. All those features within a wafer-thin, 6.5-mm profile makes iPod nano a tiny big attraction you'll just love carrying around! 2-inch (diagonal) liquid crystal display with blue-white LED backlight; 320-by-240-pixel resolution at 204 pixels per inch Compact and lightweight - Unit Size 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.41 inches (103.5 x 61.8 x 10.5 mm)/ Weighs 4.9 ounces Photo support - Syncs iPod-viewable photos in JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PSD (Mac only), and PNG formats Internal rechargeable battery delivers up to 24 hours audio or 5 hours video per charge / Recharges in about 3 hours (1.5-hour fast charge to 80% capacity) Includes Earphones, USB cable, dock adapter

It arrived promptly and works great. Saved me $50 to buy from Amazon! I will continue to use this service.

why is the black nano more expensive than the other 8 gb nanos? i dont get that. does the color make it that much more valuable?

My First iPod 2008-07-19
This is my first iPod, and I love it. The size is perfect, the sound quality is great, and it was easy to learn to use. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Shame on you Apple! 2008-07-18
I already own a 2nd generation 4G iPod Nano, and so when the 3rd generation model offered twice the capacity of the older one, I naturally wanted it. Despite the new models many new features, (games, Calendar, playing videos, etc) it has some problems that you should be aware of before making the decision to purchase it:
* You can not transfer the music you have in your old iPod into the new one. You have to move them one by one from your iTunes library into the new one.
* The new iPod makes a ticking sound whenever you press it which can become very annoying.
* My iPod's control pad seems so sensitive that when the iPod is playing while I am driving, the sound volume slightly keeps changing and what makes it worse is the fact that it keeps making that annoying ticking sound.
* As many people have pointed out, sometimes iTunes seems to be having difficulty recognizing the new iPod. This renders your new iPod useless if it happens to you.

Finally, the Apple website does not seem to be of much help when it comes to dealing with any of these problems. Despite my many attempts I could not find an e-mail address that I could send my questions to! Shame on you Apple.

IPOD 2008-07-18
I have been wanting one of these for a while and it was definitely worth the wait. I love it.

a very sleek option, though not much memory 2008-07-24
hi, i live in california, and i got an ipod nano. as i said in the title, it is almost to sleek. from my opinion, it is a very smart choice, however, it has very little memory, 8 gigs. if i wanted an ipod, i'd get the touch. i didn't get the touch because my dad thought it would be to complicated for me. so, although i wanted to get the touch, the nano is a great alternative. thanks steve jobbs!Apple iPod touch 16 GB without Software Updates

ipod nano #3 2008-07-23
The nano 3 is a fantastic device. It is easy to operate & navigate. I have enjoyed this product so much that I purchased one for my wife.

Apple iPod nano 8 GB Pink (3rd Generation) 2008-07-22
This is not my first mp3 player and I'm much happier with this one than the last. I like the features on it, like viewing video podcasts and the controls (especially the screen lock). Sound quality is very clear and the volume control allows a wide range. The games are really fun. Since there's a small screen, the movies and music videos are very small, but they do play well. Wireless syncing and bluetooth would be huge improvements. The Notes and Calendar would be better if you could create/update them on the nano, instead of only syncing them from your computer. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because the battery doesn't last very long and it could use some additional features. Overall, the 3rd gen nano is a great value and fun to own.

sorry, this review system sucks 2008-07-21
this review system sucks, make it easier for me next time and I will give a review.

Apple iPod Nano 4G 2008-07-21
The player is great; however, the supplier provided no instructions, no power cord and it took 8 weeks. I would not do business with this supplier again. Sold by: Warehouse Deals, Inc: poor service and follow thru.
