Good blades for the price

I use a Merkur Hefty DE razor, and I use to use Feather blades. I have now started using the Merkur blades and they seem to work better. I have a really thick coarse beard (think Fred Flintstone) and the Merkurs only last me 3 shaves, but hey at the price that's fine. It's still better than the mach 3 cartridges I use to buy that were like $8+ for four. They would only give me 4-5 decent shaves. I like these because while not as sharp as Feathers they seem to be more consistent than Feathers. Every blade is the same sharpness and quality.

Good blades

I don't have a point of reference in order to compare them to other blades but they fit perfectly into my Merkur safety razor and give me a nice shave. The price is on par with 10 pack blades that I've seen at local retail stores. Zero complaints.

These blades are nice and sharp, and last me a week or more. I get a nicer three-pass shave with them than I get with the Mach-3 blades I used to use. These blades feel sharper, and are much cheaper. I would recommend buying the blades in bulk if you can, however.

If you have never shaved with a real razor then get one and use these blades. American made blades are OK but nothing seems to compare to a Merkur. These things shave smooth as butter. I used to use the two and three blade razors but all they did was butcher my face. Not so with a real safety razor. Very nice indeed.

cheap, effective, will cut off your face

These things are crazy cheap and crazy sharp, so you should only use these if you absolutely have your technique down. I didn't at first and cut the crap out of my face. But, now I've gotten used to them and only cut myself a couple times per shave. I wish I was joking.

No wonder it is considered baseline

This is a great blade. I usually get about 10 passes across my face for each blade. I get a smoother, more constant shave than I could have ever expected.

There is a learning curve. The fist few times I cut myself up pretty badly. And last night, girlfriend found out the same thing.

That being said, once I got the hang of it--light, smooth strokes--I never looked back to the other "shaving systems". I don't know why you need 4 or 5 blades when one does the trick so well.

For a small object, I was charged $12.00 for shipping, which is way to expensive. I will never buy these again.

Decent blades

First go at using a double-edged safety razor so I don't know how they stack up against other DE brands, but I'm getting a much closer shave than I was with the Gilette Fusion.

I had been using the old Mach 3 blades and razor and this has completely changed my morning routine. Totally worth it! The blades came in on time and worked splendidly right out of the box.
