haven't used it hot and heavy like i want to, but it worked great in my practice trials. the nailers worked as well as can be expected, even from brand new. the compressor has worked as expected also.

I am a weekend do-it-yourselfer. One project that I was working on needed plenty of trim work. After talking with some knowledgable friends and reserching on amazon I decided to purchase the Bostitch CPACK3 combo kit. For a 3 gun kit I thought the price was right and I saw the same kit at Lowes for the same price but I would have had to pay sales tax. Although I have only used the finish nailer, I did test the other 2 guns and they work fine. The finish nailer works great. I have gone through about 1500 nails and have not had one jam. The gun fits comfortably in my hand and is light weight. At start up the compressor is a little noisy but after about 3 minutes it kicks off and only occasionally kicks back on. Being a first time user of a finish nailer I am very happy with the purchase and have saved myself a lot of time.

Ordered this product for my son for Christmas. It arrieved with in a few days to my disbelief... I had never owned any pneumatic tools prior to my purchase. I had borrowed a friends compressor and framing nailer for a project. Upon the receipt of my unit I returned his compressor and used not only his nail gun but all three that came with the compressor to finish out a 12 x 14 workshop with storage loft. I would hate to think what it would have been like to have to drive every nail and hand staple the felt on the building and roof. And now my bride wants to build bird houses since it is so easy to nail things together!

After using the compressor heavily, and all the tools moderately for more than 3 months - I'm very happy with the package. The accessory kit for $20 was well worth it - and get a filter.
The only complaint I have is the NOISE level - this thing is LOUD - if you use it indoors, Hearing Protection is A MUST Have.

well, I been looking around at the combos for sometime and was going to get a porter cable at home depot, but decided to wait.
so I ordered this on a Monday and had it thursday.
so for my first nailer guns, I am really happy an got it for a really great price. the super saving shipping cant be beat.
the compressor is louder than I like, but I read them for different units and everyone said the compressors are all loud. anyone know how to install a muffler on it
well all in all it is a great buy and I wonder how they can sell it so cheap ?

Really great for home use 2008-05-18
My husband and I purchased this unit and tools for an engineered flooring installation for our entire house. We have never used a compressor or nailers before and found it very easy not intimidating to use. We purchased seperately a pneumatic floor nailer to use with the compressor, but we installed the quarter round and started the flooring project with the included nailers. Easy to load, use and has good safety features. If you need this for at home projects its a great tool and small enough to store away and take from room to room as you work.
The only problem you will have is organizing all the projects that you can now turn out with these nailers!! Just like the home makeover shows!

I bought this item to remodel my house. First compressor I've ever bought. I read the coments at Amazon and found it a good product. It came fast, worked great for about one week and them died. Just refused to turn on.
