Tedious Yet Effective

I was skeptical to the claims Emjoi makes but I am happy with the results. It is time consuming because each hair must be held by the Emjoi tweezers for 20 seconds. However, it is far less painful than tweezing alone due to the damage of the hair root. Not pain free but it is tolerable. Hair does start to grow back lighter and thinner.

New product not as good as old

Several years ago I bought an Emjoi system, and it worked very well. Over the years, it wore out. I tried to replace it with a new system, but this new system had a more difficult wand to use. The one I received was so poorly designed that it left my fingertips sore after using it for just 30 mins. I would definitely not recommend this product, especially as I had to pay shipping on the product BOTH to and from Canada, even though it was defective :(
