I bought this item for use with a Nikon D40. Pictures save very quickly to this card. It allows you to take pictures on continuous mode with no delay between pictures. I have used cheap memory cards and the "150x" really does improve saving time.

not bad but nothing special, speed just OK 2008-01-25
I thought this would be much better than my old card as it is rated at a speed that is more than 3X that one. However, at least in my camera and computer it runs no faster, even a bit slower than my 40x rated card on continuous transfers. Also tested this as a Vista ready boost device and it just managed to squeak in under the limit and worked for me.
Given the price of this card its is still a pretty good deal, particularly if you are using an older card.

Why pay more? 2007-12-09
Excellent write speed and retrieval. Very stable. Used in our digital camera. No problems. Why pay double for the brand name when this works just as well.
