Moist Heat

My wife found this for me initially several years ago. We both used it off and on for minor aches and pains. The product heats in around 2 minutes on high in the microwave and produces perfect warm, moist heat. I recently had arthroscopic shoulder surgery and used this product on a regular basis for months. I did notice that after continued, constant use, the product starts to loose its moisture a bit. Perhaps through my own aggressive use, the product finally produces a hot spot and melted a small hole through which the filling leaked out. I immediately, by next day delivery, ordered not only this product again, but also another, different heat pad.
These things are great! I think that they are a good value for the money.

I can't start my day without it.

Every morning I microwave my bed buddy, put my coffee on, velcro my bed buddy on my lower back and go thru my morning routeen. I don't know what I did without it, well, yes I remember, I was in alot of pain. Love it!

Save your money

I love the original Bed Buddy, I've used it for years. I decided to purchase the Back Wrap. It didn't get as warm, and when I put it in the microwave for the additional 30 seconds, the product inside burnt a hole through the outside. It's in the trash.

Works Great But Can't Get Rid of Odor

We have been using Bed Buddies for years (both the back wrap and shoulder/neck version), and like them a lot. They really do deliver prolonged moist heat and relieve sore, tense muscles. The Velcro closures make them especially convenient to use.

Our Bed Buddies were getting pretty tattered, so I ordered a couple of new ones. This time, though, they have a chemical smell that I can't remedy - I've tried airing them for days in the sun, storing them with baking soda sachets...nothing works. I don't want them in my microwave oven, where we cook food - so we continue to use the old ones, not the new ones. It's been a big disappointment.

Terrible terrible!

I bought this recently for my bad back. After heating in the microwave per the instructions, it retains heat for only about 20 minutes or so. Have to keep re-heating it.

Furthermore, after about the 10th time using it -- and on a new day when it had not been used yet that day -- the outside material disintegrated in 2 places in the microwave, with the inner material falling out. Always heated for no longer than the instructions said to. I will never buy this again.

Didn't retain heat for long

I had an older version of this product that retained heat for over an hour at a time. This recently purchased, new version doesn't retain heat nearly as long as the older one did. I have to keep reheating it.

The Best of the Best

If you have back or muscle problems, this is the greatest source of relief for those aches and pains. The new design is much improved over the old. I recommend the Bed Buddy 100%

New and improved???

Bought this product a few years ago. Best re-usable heat pack on the market. Bought a new one and yup, you guessed it, just not as good. They don't pack it with as much "guts" so it doesn't retain heat as well and you have to heat it up longer. Too bad, I used to really love it....
