My wife and I purchased this item last week and love it as it dresses up our foyer very nicely. Although it does need assembly, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I was afraid that the mirror would be broken during shipping, but it wasn't as it arrive in a well packed box. I would definitely recommend this product.

Using as a vanity table

I had limited room in my bedroom and purchased this as a vanity table. It was a little time consuming to put together but well worth the money.

OK, but with a few flaws..

I had looked at this item on several websites, but decided to buy through Amazon because of the price and previous favorable experiences. I checked with the actual distributor (Best Priced Furniture) to confirm costs, shipping details and construction materials. The table is mostly wood except for the top which is something called "MDF" (similar to particle board). It is covered with "oak" veneer and is basically crap. The top has a small knick in it which cannot be repaired due to it's composition. Also, the front panel has a knick, but is not too noticable. The item was shipped via FedEx and the shipping box looked like it had been previously opened and poorly retaped. All the parts were included, but it appears that the hardware (numerous screws, etc) packaging had been opened and much of the stuff was scatered loosley in the box. Not very impressive.

All in all, this isn't a bad piece of furniture, although the design tolerances and overall quality reflect the price. It looks OK in my foyer.

I will not purchase anything from Best Priced Furniture again.
